Chapter V: Remnant Morphed

*Y/N's POV*

It was the next day morning, me and Pyrrha were in Ozpin's office at Beacon, we spent the night at the hotel rooms having for free, seems like everything is still for free for me even after all those years.

Alissa, Blaze, Jill and Susan returned to Mistral with Felix and Desmond...

Beacon's corridors were empty because of the autumn break

Ozpin: "This mission is of top priority."

You: "What is it this time?"

Ozpin: "Our hunters found out that the rest of Morphs are somewhere near Atlas and that your sister Jane must've made some adjustments to them."

Pyrrha: "What kind of adjustments."

Ozpin: "When someone dies from Morph's attack they will turn into one but they are stronger." I looked at the floor...

You: "Still giving me a headache Jane... why did you do this?"

Pyrrha: "She was a psycho.... how many are there?"

Ozpin: "Aproximetaly around 400 Morphs but the number is slowly increasing..."

Pyrrha: "That many?"

Ozpin: "Your mission for now is to observe their nest and bring back intel before we can move further."

You: "Why us?"

Ozpin: "We believe that Pyrrha's red eye is of grimm therefore there's a small chance Morphs will ignore her presence."

Pyrrha: "It's not certain."

Ozpin: "You will meet up with your former team Mrs. Nikos... I believe Mr. Ren's semblance might be of use to you."

You: "What is his semblance."

Pyrrha: "I believe it is called Tranquility... he can mask our presence from grimm."

You: "That will definitely be useful."

Ozpin: "It is not certain though... seeing as Morph were humans before."

Pyrrha: "Understandable."

Ozpin: "Your bullhead is waiting for you... you will meet your ex-teammates in Atlas."

You: "Got it..." We left the office as we went down with the elevator.

Pyrrha: "Are you okay Y/N?"

You: "I should... just... why did she-"

Pyrrha: "Don't think about her Y/N... she is not alive anymore so if we kill or cure all Morph they should be gone forever."

You: "What if-" She silenced me with a finger...

Pyrrha: "We'll put an end to this okay dear?" She swapped her finger with her lips... I pulled her closer thus deepening the kiss..

You: "Why didn't he send only me... you have Felix to take care of..."

Pyrrha: "I'm sure Alissa can manage it with Shane."

You: "But then... he would see Alissa as his mom."

Pyrrha: "And? Alissa is still in the family so I don't really mind... besides I am kind of old to be Felix's mom..." I kissed her again...

You: "Old? Want to say that again? I think I'm not agreeing with you..."

Pyrrha: "I am getting old."

You: "We both are... but Pyrrha you're looking as young as when we met... a bit more mature but your beauty didn't disappear.."
