I wake up from my sleep by the loud shouting of my stepbrothers, gosh, sometimes I ask myself if I made the right choice by asking to live with my dad and his new wife and children. Marco and Josh are real pain in the back, they always pull stupid pranks on me and get away with it because of their protective mum says that they are "just children" and I should be the one that should change. Sigh...

I painfully get out of bed and try to find my clothes that I prepared the night before. I spent hours yesterday trying to find the perfect outfit for my new school. I wanted my clothing to say: I'm chill and I'm trying to make a good impression, kinda look. I found them on my chair, neatly folded. I dressed myself and headed to the kitchen for breakfast.
- Morning dear, said my dad while kissing on the cheek, I prepared you a nice breakfast for your first day in Long Island High School (LIHS), Magnus is there so he could show you around.

Magnus was my cousin, he is in his sophomore year in high school in LIHS. Its been a long time since I saw him but I remember all the great Thanksgiving we had together in Uncle Randolf's Mansion. We won't be in the same class but I'm glad I at least know someone in the school.

I finished preparing myself (trying to ignore my step brothers) and went in the school bus. I quickly noticed Magnus: a tall guy with dirty blond hair that stops at his shoulders and had grey eyes (just like me), he was wearing a bleu jacket over a dark green t-shirt and jeans. He, also, recognized me and immediately greeted me with a hug.
- Annabeth! He said, It's so good to see you again!

It was so nice to see him, he grew so much since I last saw him. We talked during the whole bus ride, we talked about all of what we've been through over the years and it was just the greatest thing to talked to someone who understood me so well. It was like returning to my dad's was actually worth it!

When we finally arrived at school, a was amazed of how big the school was. It had beautiful plants all around it the place was just full of teenagers happy and exited to see their friends again. This was is. This was my new life.
This was a new page of my life.
