THE DAY OF THE YULE BALL

"Erm— Is this dress too much?" She asked Pansy, fondling the dress from her top to her hips. Pansy came out from the restroom, with a towel wrapped around her body, "Absolutely not! It looks amazing!"

"But it makes my boobs go— up. They look big"

"That's the whole point, Adriana."

Adriana twisted her lips and ran her fingers through her hair. "Bun or keep it down?"

"Curl it a bit, then keep it down" she told her, brushing her own hair.

Adriana nodded and went to grab her hair rollers. After she found them, she brushed through her hair, removing any tiny knots and tangled within.

"I had sex with Blaise the other day" Pansy blurted out. This made Adriana choke on a laugh, "So random but go you" she smiled.

"Yeah, who are you planning on getting with tonight?" she asked her, tying her hair up in a bun. Adriana sighed as she put in the last hair roller, "Pansy."

"Mhm?"

"I'm a virgin."

Pansy gasped and immediately wrapped her arms around Adriana, "You innocent little bean!" she cooed.

Adriana laughed awkwardly as Pansy let her go. "Girl. Okay, it does hurt a tad bit the first time around, but you'll get used to it I promise you" Pansy patted her back.

Adriana sighed and shook her head. "It's shocking aint it? A pretty girl, a princess at that, who's also a virgin. Who woulda thought?" Adriana said as she applied her blush, "I also kissed Cedric yesterday, again. He came over to my house."

"Uh- wait- Again?!" Pansy said through a laugh, "When was the first time?"

"At the party, I was drunk." Adriana smiled, "Then I nearly passed out, so he took me to his room and—"

"He didn't do anything right?" Pansy cut her off, opening up her lipstick.

"No, god no!" Adriana shook her head, "I knocked out in there but then I woke up and went to my room, god- Pansy why would he—"

"I'm just looking out for you!" Pansy said through a giggle, "So, green or black?"

Adriana and Pansy both were nearly finished getting ready. Adriana wore a silver colored dress, adorned with pearls. She put on her silver heels and started to take out the hair rollers.

Pansy wore a black, skin-tight dress with a slit on the side, with black heels, dark eyeshadow and eyeliner.

Adriana went for more of a simple look. She put on a nude colored lip stick, some light blush and mascara

"Ready?" Pansy asked Adriana.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

"Hello ladies, you look lovely!" Professor McGonagall greeted as the two of the entered the ball.

"Thank you professor" They smiled before walking past. For some odd reason, Adriana felt strange, like this wasn't right for some reason. The balls she goes to arent like this at all.
