One week laterParty and Pansys'
The smell of alcohol and marijuana filled the air as Adriana entered the house. Adriana doesn't plan on getting too drunk, she wouldn't want anything to happen.
Well, anything bad of course.
Theo said he would go to the party, but he wanted to take care of Adriana's pets for the time being.
The party was fun. Most of the people got incredibly drunk within the first hour of being there. Some got high.
And then some others were both.
Adriana was one of them.
So much for not getting drunk.
Downing the last bit of alcohol in her cup, Adriana sighed in annoyance, "My head hurts like a bitch." She stood up slowly, trying not to fall over. "Sweetheart dont you think you've had enough?" Pansy asked her.
Adriana giggled and looked over at her friend, "Not quiet." she smirked, "I'll be back."
The drinking and smoking she was doing at the party was relaxing her mind, relaxing her. It was making her somewhat forget about her troubles with Cedric. Adriana walked towards the kitchen to get another drink. There were quiet a few bottles opened. Some half full, some rolling around on the floor, and some that had just been opened. In her eyes, the place was a mess.
So she began to clean.
A few minutes after she threw away the empty bottles and fixed everything else, someone spoke.
"Are you alright?" a voice said from behind her.
She turned around as saw a man of fair height, holding a red solo cup. "I'm sorry— do I know you?" Adriana slurred out.
"My apologies. I'm Dean Thomas." he introduced himself, "I was just asking if you were alright because you're cleaning. No one cleans at a party until its over— not even then people clean."
"Yeah it just looked like a complete mess in my eyes." she said through a small laugh.
Dean nodded and walked over to the fridge,
"I've seen you around school quiet a bit. Aren't you dating pretty boy Ced?" he said as he opened the fridge.Adriana scoffed and sat on the countertop next to the drinks, "I was."
Dean furrowed his brows and closed the fridge. He placed his cup on the countertop and walked over towards Adriana, "That response sounded as if he ruined the relationship?"
"He did— Well I mean, I don't know. I probably did something to deserve what he did. I wasn't giving him what he wanted for some time." she explained, "And for the time I hadn't been giving him what he wanted, he'd been fucking with someone."
"I'm sorry—"
"Don't. Please. It's fine, really. I'm over it." Adriana said all too quickly. She wasn't over it. She was trying though. "I completely forgot what I came here for— mmph!"
Dean pressed his lips against hers, his hands gripping her waist and moving her closer to him.
Adriana didn't know what to do. She was drunk and high out of her mind right now. Maybe it was because he was intoxicated? Is that why he's doing this?
Or is he trying to pity her?
"Dean?!" a familiar voice came in, "Are you serious?"
Cho Chang.
Cho Chang was now 'dating' Dean. She's doing it for attention, sex, revenge.
The boy thought of a quick lie, "Oh shit." he said through a laugh, "Sorry babe— I must be really drunk."
Dean looked at Cho, noticing she was taking his lie. She sighed, "Oh." Cho said bluntly, "Well, maybe you should sit down. Come out after you're done with whatever it is you're doing in here." she said. Cho left without another word.
Adriana closed her legs and go off the countertop, "I should leave—"
"Hey, listen." Dean whispered, "You don't deserve what he did to you, at all."
He walked out of the kitchen, leaving Adriana. She thought about his words.
"Maybe I don't deserve it." she thought, "But he did it for a reason."
Her head began to hurt. She felt as if she was going to throw up any moment now. Adriana rushed to the nearest bathroom and locked the door behind her before putting her head over the toilet, just in case.
She was there for about five minutes and she hasn't thrown up.
Adriana shrugged it off and began to stand back up and walk over to the sink.
She looked at herself in the mirror and huffed, "You probably do deserve it. Fucking cunt." she slurred out.Adriana ran her fingers through her hair and shook her head. Someone began to knock on the door.
"Occupied." Adriana sighed.
The person knocked again.
"Occupied."
And again.
Growing annoyed, Adriana groaned and walked over to the door, throwing it open, "I said— Cedric?!"
He smiled awkwardly and walked in, "Hi."
Adriana closed the door behind the both of them and just stared at him, "What. The. Fuck." she blinked.
There was a silence between them. They just stared at each other for a moment. Cedric admired her while Adriana was almost disgusted.
"He has the audacity to see— to try and talk to me after what he did?"
"Adriana, baby—" he said softly as he began to inch closer to her.
"Nope! Don't move any closer to me or I swear to god, Ced." she said quickly.
He listened and stopped.
As much as she didn't want to see him right now, or even listen to him, she was a curious girl.
"Now," Adriana cleared her throat, "What the hell do you want?"
