The next morning when Timmy went to the beach with Jon and Dad went golfing. I had the whole house to myself. David said his uncle didn't want him coming out today and just rest. So this was perfect to play the piano.
I walked over to the piano and looked to make sure I was alone. I was. I started with some vocal and piano warm ups and decided I was ready. I started playing something romantic yet mysterious and I enjoyed it. I wrote down the notes and lyrics on a music sheet and kept adding. When I was done I stapled it to a letter I wrote that read-
Dear David,
Your song really inspired me to do this and its dedicated to you.
Love you,
Emily
I started to put the song together and it came great.
When I'm alone,
Don't know where to go,
I look around,
and still I know,
That I have you...
I started putting that together, yet it took me all night and day but I got it finished and right before the others came home. So for the rest of the hour I had to myself I just played some more of the piano. Before I knew it I heard the door handle jiggle. I quickly ran from the piano and jumped onto the couch pretending to nap.
The door opened. "Hey darling." Dad said. "We're going for pizza, wanna come with?"
I slowly rised. "Yeah, sure."
"Thats great."
I noticed a look on Jon and Timmy's faces. They stared right at the piano noticing I left my supplies there. Timmy walked over and grabbed them. "Dad, it looks like someone's been up to something." I quickly got up off the couch and yanked them from Timmy as he laughed.
"Oh, really. What'd you do?" Dad asked taking off his golf shoes.
"Its nothing."
"Okay, well guys go change. We'll leave at twenty after." Dad said then kicked his shoes to the side with the other mess of shoes.
I started walking upstairs with Timmy and Jon. When we got to the hallway, out of Dad's site, they both grabbed one of my shoulders as we headed to my room. "We won't tell Dad." said Timmy.
"If you just promise to have things my way." Said Jon. "No arguing with me and always obey me like I'm your brother."
"Why are you doing this to me." I asked them.
They didn't feel like responding so they just slapped me on the back as they passed my room and walked to Timmy's room.
The next day I walked along the shore of the beach finding inspiration. I saw seagels, dolphins and even whales and they gave me the inspiration I needed for my music. Tomorrows the day I finally get to see David. David couldn't leave the house for the last couple of days because he needed his rest and he was grounded for acting stupid. He called a couple times but always ended up hanging up before I could reach the phone.
I thought of writing the music part cause I am terrible with lyrics and was up all night trying to put it together.
