MILLIE GIGGLES INTO her hands as she watches MG and Kaleb dance to a mash-up of a song they had made together.

It's good, but they're exaggerating some of their moves, which is hilarious in her eyes.

The two boys had seen Millie in the kitchen eating strawberry cupcakes she had made with Lizzie's help, and they had immediately wanted to show her what they had come up with.

Two hours later, at the Old Mill, the three of them are still having a good time.

MG turns down the music and starts telling a story, exaggerating everything, munching on chips, all the while throwing his hands around widely.

"You lie!" Millie laughs and throws some chips at the boy, scrunching up her nose and shaking her head.

His mouth hangs open as he points at the blonde, dark brown eyes widening in disbelief at her words. "I do not lie!"

"He does lie," Kaleb chirps and laughs when MG turns to him with a gasp.

"Traitor!" MG shouts, holding a hand to his chest. "This is blasphemy!"

Millie and Kaleb glance at one another, laughing at their friend.

MG pouts for a second before grinning. He vamp-speeds to the boombox that has been playing music, turning it up.

Kaleb smiles and stands up, offering his hand to the giggling blonde. "Ma'am?"

Setting the bag of chips aside, Millie beams up at him, placing her delicate hand in his. "Why, thank you, kind sir."

Hope—who has been searching the school for the blonde zombie—arrives at the Old Mill, finding Millie being twirled around by Kaleb.

Kaleb spins Millie one last time before dipping her. He grins as he brings her back up, kissing her on the cheek.

Millie smiles widely at the long-haired vampire, skipping around him, her dress swishing from side to side.

Hope's eyes narrow, her body tensing as a low growl rumbles through her chest.

Clenching her hands into fists, she swiftly turns on her heel before storming away from the building, her anger making everything shake around her.

A LITTLE WHILE later, Millie searches for Hope, wondering where the auburn-haired girl had wandered off to.

"Mom!" She exclaims when she sees Caroline, who turns to her with wide eyes before excusing herself from the teacher she had been talking to.

"Millie, what's wrong? Did something happen?" Caroline hurries over, looking her eldest daughter up and down worriedly. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine," Millie responds, pushing a strand of hair away from her face. "I'm just looking for Hope."

"You used an urgent tone just because you want to find Hope?" Caroline grins. She guesses her daughter is crushing on the tribrid.

Millie nods. "Yeah. She's my friend. Do you know where she is? I can't seem to find her."

Caroline stares fondly at her daughter. "She said she needed some air, so she went out back in wolf form."

"Thanks!" Millie shouts over her shoulder as she takes off outside.

Chuckling, Caroline shakes her head and makes her way down the hall. "Those girls are so oblivious..."

Millie walks through the woods, mumbling a Girl in Red song to herself, one hand trailing along the trees, and her bare feet sinking into the soft, green grass.

Her floral-printed dress with a front lace-up flutters slightly due to the light wind, and her long blonde hair is in soft waves, tickling her neck and arms.

Soon enough, she finally finds the girl still in her wolf form, trotting through the trees.

Hope's furry white head perks up, gazing in Millie's direction as she steps into view.

Millie extends a dog treat with a giggle, and Hope seems to scoff. "If you want this, you have to be a good girl."

Hope growls softly before letting out a noise that sounds like a chuckle.

Plopping down onto the soft grass, Millie stares at the white wolf. "Does it feel good to be in that form?"

Nodding, Hope slowly approaches Millie, resting her head in her lap.

They stay like that for a while—Millie's hand running through Hope's soft, white fur until the moon starts to rise.
