Loud music, chatter, and the smell of grilled food take over the backyard of a big white house out in the country.
It's the house Hope and her mother, Hayley, lived in before the Mikaelsons were undaggered.
The Mikaelsons, Millie, Liv and her boyfriend Lowell, Clive, Peyton and Ravi, the twins, Caroline and Alaric, are celebrating a good, happy year and the wonderful family they have now.
Even the Salvatores came—Elena and Damon with their daughters, Stephanie and Jenna.
Everyone is getting along—no arguing, no fights breaking out. Just peace.
Millie laughs and runs away from Hope, who uses her newfound vampire speed to catch up to her.
The two fall to the ground, giggling loudly before kissing.
Just a few months ago, Hope, who could never live without Millie, decided it was time to fully become the tribrid.
With the help of Freya and a spell, they slowed her heart rate until it stopped—painless and easy.
Liv and Lowell are still going strong—he's even moved in with the mother and daughter duo.
They're planning on trying to find a house so they can continue to grow their family since Liv really wants another child, and Lowell agreed once they find a suitable house that they can look to adopt.
Peyton and Ravi are in an on-and-off-again relationship, but Millie sees them ending up together in a huge house with a wrap-around porch sometime in the future.
The first time Millie witnessed it, it was a little weird, but it seems like Clive and Rebekah seem to have some sort of... thing... going on.
Honestly, it's cute.
Damon and Elena are expecting another child, and Lizzie keeps demanding they name it after her, but Elena says she has a feeling it's a boy this time around, to which Lizzie disagrees.
