MILLIE MOORE hadn't always had the best of luck. She grew up in the foster care system until she was twelve years old, having never spent more than a few months with one family.
To put it simply, her life sucked.
After an incident at the hands of a foster father, she met Liv Moore, a young twenty-two-year-old nurse who took care of her injuries, yelled at her foster father, and eventually adopted her.
Six years later, Millie and Liv attended a boat party together—that night changed everything for the both of them.
A year after that fateful event and now permanently stuck as a teenager, Millie was attacked by two guys who beat her to the point she wasn't able to hold in her full-on zombie mode, and she ended up killing them.
That was the day Alaric Saltzman found her and almost killed her, thinking she was a cold-blooded killer.
Thankfully, Liv came to her daughter's side and explained everything to the man, who then invited Millie to join his school for special children.
