We stood outside of my favourite Korean restaurant my hands were shaking, I rubbed them together trying to stop them but they wouldn't stop, every member of my family was with me including Josh and for some weird reason, Tucker was there as well. Everyone was waiting for me to go in.
Mrs Goth grabbed my hand lightly and smiled lightly at me "Take your time"
This is the day I come face to face with both my blood parents, both of them should be sitting in that restaurant waiting for us to enter. I looked down at my off-the-shoulder black dress that lay just under my knees, it had no sleeves, it clung to my stomach and then flew out so my legs were free, my dress matched Mrs Goth's but Mrs Goth was sparkly with a white strap across her stomach, Carrie had the same shape dress but she was red with a black strap across her stomach, all the men were wearing suits.
"I'm ready" I gulped Mrs Goth gave my hand a small squeeze then we all walked into the restaurant
Mr Goth walked over to the desk where a lovely middle-aged woman with lovely long blonde curly hair, wearing a plain black shirt, plain black trousers and black shoes, we all followed her to a private room where my blood parents were waiting. I would feel my heart racing, My hands shaking until I felt a hand on my back, I turned my head and saw Spider smile lightly at me then guided me to a seat as far away from them as I could be which was at the other side of the table and down at the bottom, I sat down and spider sat beside me with wolfy sitting on my other side. Everyone else found a seat at the table. Slade sat beside our mum and then Keegan sat beside him. I couldn't bring myself to look at them my heart was pounding like crazy, it felt like it was going to explode out of my chest.
"Thank you both for coming today" Mrs Goth spoke first
"Thank you for inviting us" My blood mother spoke
"Well, I'm Carol and this is my husband John" Mrs Goth spoke "These are our children Spider, Aiden, Wolfy and Carrie, this is Spider's friend Tucker and this is Lily's friend Josh"
"It's nice to meet you all I'm Allison Harper and I think you all know my children Keegan, Slade and Lily's father Austin Jones," My blood mother said
"It's nice to finally meet you, we have been looking for you for years but no one would find you" Mr Goth spoke this time
"Yes, I'm really sorry about that" Allison apologised
"Alright, We should order, please order anything you like it's on us" Smiled Mrs Goth
I picked up my menu and used it to cover my face while I looked over all the yummy food and for a second I forgot about everyone around me, Wolfy reached over and pointed out some side dishes for us to cheer which we always do, I and Wolfy always get to separate main dishes and slit it and some side dishes to share. After ordering the food we all sat there waiting for someone to speak.
Allison was the first to spoke " Lily, Austin told me you love to write, I love writing too I used to be an English teacher"
"Yeah, My mum loves writing as well, I take after her" I nodded While looking at Mrs Goth and smiled lightly
"That's true, I even gave her my old journals with short stories in them," Mrs Goth smiled back
Allison's face showed a bit of hurt but she quickly wiped it off her face just then the food came and it was placed on the table me and Wolfy started to half the main meals and put the other half on each other's plate.
"Lily and Wolfy seem close" Allison spoke
"They all are, wolfy and lily have been sharing their food here since the first time we brought lily here, She wasn't sure what to get cause it all looked so good so wolfy to her to order whatever she liked and he would share with her and ever since then they shared food" Mrs Goth explained to Allison
"Lily, is Korean food, your favourite food ?" Austin asked
"Yea, is it" I took a big bite of my food and smiled at how good it tasted
"And That's where she takes after me" Mr Goth smiled
"It looks like the perfect family took lily in" Allison spoke
After we were all finished eating we sat there drinking our juice or wine for the adults.
"Lily, sweetheart it's your time to say anything you want or asks anything" Mrs Goth spoke to me
I bite my bottom lip and looked down, I haven't looked at her the whole time I was here I just couldn't, Wolfy lightly took my hand in his and squeezed it lightly letting me know he is right beside me.
"W-why would you leave me, H-How could you leave me?" I stuttered nervously
"Keegan was sick, I had too much going on, everything got on top of me and I had a break down" She spoke
"Wasn't there anyone else to look after me?" I asked while I lightly squeezed Wolfy's hand to stop my hands from shaking
"No, I have no family so I couldn't find someone to look after you" She answered
"W-w-w-why me?" I stuttered again
"The truth?" Allison asked
"Yes, no matter what I want the truth" I finally looked up at her
"I hm..... *Allison looked down ashamed* I never wanted a daughter"
Shock hit me like a tonne of bricks, Tears came to my eyes and ran down my face. I looked down and covered my face with my hands and cried.
"MUM!!" Slade shouted while standing up in anger
"How dare you come looking for my daughter and put her through this! Why are you here!" Mr Goth shouted
"I made a mistake, I missed my daughter so much, I couldn't believe what I had done" Allison started crying
"She is not your daughter, she's mine and my wife's, Lily is a goth and no whatever you are" Mr Goth kept shouting
Wolfy pulled me towards him as he held me close to him, his arms were wrapped around me tightly while he whispered "I have you, your safe with me"
"I-I can't be here anymore" I whispered to wolfy
Wolfy helped me up and took me out of the room.
"You will never take my daughter from me!" was the last thing I heard Mr Goth shout before the door closed
Wolfy took me out of the restaurant, holding me close the whole time.
