"Quit whining. I thought you'd be happy to steal from Huts."
She groaned at the apprentice, "When you said stealing, I didn't think you meant kidnapping!"
Keeping her stare forward, her friend shrugged, "It's the same thing, Vellech."
"No, it's not!" Throwing her arms up, she glared incredulously at the older apprentice whilst the Hutlet in her arms began to cry. Recoiling back from it, she pulled a face, holding it far away from her in horror, "Take it away! Take it away!"
Sighing, Ventress squeezed her eyes shut, trying her best to not snap at the teen today. Ripping the child from her arms, she missed Sonder disgustedly wiping at her hands, cleaning them of the Hutlet as if it would poison her. Rubbing her palms on her cloak, she cringed as it was now infected, too.
Hurriedly removing it, she discarded it behind her. Wistfully gazing at the item, she pouted, 'It's too far gone, now.'
"Sonder!" Ventress's sharp tone caught her attention, the apprentice no longer seeing the young assassin beside her.
She winced. Rounding the corner, she sprinted after her, "Coming!"
'After all, a waiting Ventress is not a happy Ventress.'
Huffing gently, she grinned with a mock bow when the apprentice turned to her, "As requested."
Rolling her eyes, Ventress pushed past her; Sonder whining at the shove. Sliding open the door, she ignored her; placing the Hutlet inside the small room.
