A week has passed since we moved into the new house. Mom and dad took time off of work for a week to help me settle. (S/N) has come as well to check out the new house and bring a couple of things down. Tokyo wasn't far from Hyogo, only a 5 hour train ride. So she would be coming and staying a couple days so that I wouldn't be completely alone.Mom also said that Ayumu would be checking up on me every once in a while. Ayumu was a kind person. You can tell that she genuinely means everything she says and she gives these gentle smiles that warms my heart. Orion also said he'll check up on me, him and dad really connected about god knows what but they're like best buds now. Apparently they're both going to be working in the same station which I'm glad about. Now dad has a friend there as well.
Today I would be going to my new school to get my uniform and also get acquainted with the school. There is only a couple weeks before school starts, I haven't done much this summer. I'm bummed out but what is there for me to do? I don't want any friends nor do I have anything that I want to do necessarily. A soft knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts. It was mom.
"Good morning (Y/N)." She softly said with a warm smile. She had bags under her eyes. She clearly had no sleep.
"Good morning mom." I responded still tucked in my bed.
"You have to go over to school today remember?" She said walking towards my bed and sitting next to me.
I quickly scoped her into my arms hugging her. Hopefully she understands that I'm grateful for what she does for me that now it's my turn to be strong for her.
"I know momma thank you." I said holding her tightly, I could hear her breath shake a little before she recomposed herself.
"Very well get ready breakfast is downstairs." She said escaping the hug and walking out of my room. Sometimes I wonder if she's ever going to open up and stop keeping up the front of being strong. One night when I had left my room door open, I could hear her tiny sniffles and cries in the living room. I just wish she'd let me help her. She keeps the family together but how can you keep something together if you're crumbling behind the scene.
I got up and stretched, reaching with my arms up to the sky. I'm not fairly tall but not short either. Wait what was I doing again? Oh right getting ready for today. Walking over to my dresser, I picked out some sweats and a sweatshirt. It's not like I'm meeting anyone important today. After changing, I made my way downstairs for breakfast.

After (Y/N) had gone home last night, leaving her parents behind. Ayumu was a little worried she understood what had happened back in little Kyoto but she was worried for their daughter. She also saw the way that (M/N) masked her sadness.
She had known (M/N) since she was little and the once positive girl was met with the cruel world and even though no one notices the sadness that is in her eyes she can. And she wants to do anything she can to make her friend have the same sparkle in her eye that she once had.
"Is she going to be okay?" Ayumu spoke up with worry written all over her face.
"Yeah she's strong just like her mother." (D/N) said mumbling the last part. (D/N) had heard his wife's sniffles and cries. His heart broke everytime she would find her. He would hold her like she was a delicate glass, he would stroke her hair, telling her to let everything out that he's here. After her sobs he would carry her like the night after their wedding and tuck her into bed.
Meanwhile, the twins and Suna had returned to the twin's room after finishing cleaning up. Somehow the twins had gotten into another argument about who was the better son. Suna was recording the whole thing.
"Mom and dad love me more, I cleaned the most dishes." Atsumu argued while pulling his twin's hair.
"If that's the case then they love me more, I do more than you." Osamu said punching Atsumu.
Their fights always escalated no matter what the argument was about. People tried to break it apart but it never worked. The only people that could break it apart we're their parents, mainly their mom and/or their volleyball captain for some reason. Orion would just sit there tired of their crap or sometimes would bet with Suna who would surprisingly always be there to see who'd win.
This argument was no different than the others, they were pulling each other's hair, punching, kicking and slapping each other. Bruises could be seen forming more on the blond twin, mostly because he was invested in only pulling Osamu's hair. This went on for 5 minutes, looking like there was no end.
"Are you guys almost done? My storage is running out." Suna said lazily.
"No until Samu says I'm the favorite." Atusmu said, struggling a little.
"No way in hell." Osamu responded. Suddenly they heard soft notes coming in from their window. All three of them froze when they heard an angel like voice singing.
Wise men say
Only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you?
Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be
The argument that had once ignited between the two had died down. Their attention had been averted to the girl playing the piano on the other side of their window. Her voice sounded like warm vanilla, a gentle tone. They could tell that with every note she played and sang, she tried it with delicacy. Her voice melted almost the way chocolate melted inside your mouth but somehow she made it melt softer reaching every taste bud there is. Her emotion spilled out with every key she pressed.
"Wow." Atsumu was the first to speak up after hearing her. He was quickly shut up by Osamu throwing a pillow at him which initiated another fight.
Back with (Y/N), she had gotten ready for her orientation today. Her parents offered to take her but she politely declined. She preferred to walk and get acquainted with the school route. School was only about a 10 minute walk which wasn't that bad. Once she was in front of the school gate she looked up.
The building was bigger than her old school, it was cleaner as well. The surrounded trees were a bright vivid green adding life and color to the exterior.
"Excuse me." A monotonous and blunt voice said. (Y/N) turned her gaze from the building to the male in front of her. He was slightly taller than her by maybe a couple centimeters, his dull brown eyes filled with little to no interest but also felt welcoming. His bi color hair was so peculiar to the girl, his expression and the vibe he gave off didn't match the statement that his hair was trying to make.
"Yes?" She responded with a monotonous tone as well.
"You must be (L/N) (Y/N), My name is Kita Shinsuke. I'll be showing you around." He said bowing politely.
"Thank you very much. I appreciate it." She said smiling and bowing as well.
"This way." He said motioning for her to follow him.
