The first day of school came sooner than expected. Getting up she was greeted with the sun beaming into her room, making everything in her room lively including her. She got up and stretched to get rid of her tiredness and the knots in her body. She walked into the bathroom that was connected to her room, doing her regular routine before reentering her room. Her uniform wasn't anything special beside the skirt exposing a little more of her thighs then she would have want it to be.
Once she was done she was greeted with a pleasant silence. Her parents had gone to Tokyo already the night before. Even though she was scared of being alone, she felt slightly at peace.
"Today's gonna be a good day." She mumbled to herself with a slight smile on her face. She grabbed her bag and left out the door. The walk to school wasn't so far getting there in no time. Everything looked different than before she had come. The stillness that the school she had seen before during the tour was now replaced by a sea of people coming from different directions, scrambling trying to get to their destination.
Coming back to her sense, she gripped her bag and began making her way to her classroom, vaguely remembering the directions. As if luck were on her side she founded it in no time. She slid the door silently trying not to cause any attention to herself, however it felt like every female in the classroom's gaze was on the person who opened the door. As they were met with her (E/C) gaze they quickly looked away in disappointment.
Rolling her eyes she made her way to a seat near the window at the back of the class or the main character seat as she liked to call it, someone had already sat next to that seat but didn't give him much mind.
She sat down putting her bag in the appropriate place before finally taking in her surroundings. Any normal person would feel some sort of nervousness but not our protagonist. She could care less about what people thought of her. Over the years she had grown to be numb to different emotions and only hid behind her mask. The only time she would actually show emotions would be whenever she was alone with her piano or with her parents.
The boy next to her was reading a book, seeming that he didn't care about what the people around them were saying either. Even though most of the females were screeching and squealing. His slightly thicker than normal eyebrows furrowed but his gaze remained on the book. His silvery hair spiked up yet looked chillingly natural, he seemed tall but was hunched over so (Y/N) couldn't tell for sure.
(Y/N) looked away instead she looked out the window, even with the amount of students swarming the school trying to get in on time, the school still had something to it that she couldn't quite put her finger on but was on the tip of her tongue. Loud pig like squeals brought her to her senses.
"Atsumu~"
"You're in our class?"
"We're so lucky."
"Please rail me."
At the last comment the girl's face contoured to a disgusted one. 'We're in high school, calm down, stop acting like dogs in heat.' She rolled her eyes and her eyes landed on the male next to her who was already looking at her. He had a slightly disgusted face while the girl had a stoic face. They soon broke out into chuckles and laughter.
"This happens every year and I still don't get used to it." The boy said with a smile on his face.
"Is this an everyday thing?" She asked with a questioning look.
"Sadly." He responded with a depressed tone.
(Y/N) let out a breathy chuckle, "I'm Ginjima but you can call me Gin." He said to the girl.
"(Y/N)." and with that they turned around to face the front of the classroom. They noticed that a certain blond was making their way to them. 'Great we're in the same class.' (Y/N) thought.
"Gin!!" The blond yelled before tackling the poor boy into a hug.
"We're in the same class again." He said, pulling away.
"Yeah." Gin said, almost looking like he's going to cry.
"Oh and (Y/N)'s here too." Atsumu said with the same cherry voice from before. She gave a small wave in response.
"You know her?" Gin asked with an eyebrow raised.
"He's my neighbor." She said before the blond could say anything.
The school day had gone by and it was now lunchtime. The only classwork that was given was mostly the usual first day stuff, (Y/N) was able to talk to Gin who she determined was actually a really cool person to talk to. Instead of going to lunch with the rest (Y/N) decided that she'd just explore. She wasn't really hungry so why not was her logic.
Her short adventure didn't last long but she did find her new favorite spot. It was on a field that was overseen by the school's clubroom meaning that whoever was in the clubrooms could see the field. But it was also empty no one was around which made it the perfect spot for her. She found a nice tree to sit under. She plugged in her headphones and started to listen to her music.
When she was on tik tok she found a song about a show she used to watch so she wanted to try out the vocals.
[Play video]
Within these walls
We'll give it our all
We will not fall or fumble
At first she started moving her fingers as if she were the one playing the piano, still sitting under the shade of the tree.
We'll stage a coup
And follow-through
The king never knew
He'd crumble
As the song progressed she got up from her spot and started singing while looking around as if she was searching for something.
Be careful who you believe
And who you can trust
She didn't know however that she had a small audience that was looking out from a certain clubroom the window.
Friend or foe? Would they deceive
To do what they must?
The wind slowly picked up blowing through her (H/L)(H/C) hair as the song came to it's close.
The world will be ours
When the stars are falling
And we
Will succeed
As the song reached its end she sang softly with a smile plastered on her face. In a way the song represented her, you never know who you can trust sooner or later they all turn on you. Like they always do.
