It was finally the weekend sadly enough her parents weren't coming home their reasoning being that they were taking a 'small vacation' to Sendai. It was (F/N) and Orion's idea, they wanted to "impress their women". So both the Miya parents and (L/N) parents went on a couple vacation leaving their kids behind. Ayumu and Orion both strictly told the twins not to cause trouble, also placing Kita in charge because if one of the twins had the responsibility it would just lead to arguing and chaos. So now some of the volleyball team were going to be sleeping over for the weekend.
As for (Y/N) she had the whole house to herself like always. Today strangely she woke up in a good mood, the sun's rays shone through her window and a small breeze came into her room, she always left the window open. She laid in her bed for a while not really going to sleep but not getting up to start her day, just thinking and making a mental list of the things she would have to accomplish today.
"Let's see, buy more food, clean around the house and practice piano." She said thinking out loud, none of those tasks were going to be difficult. She was almost excited to get them done, strangely. Is this what being productive feels like? She questioned herself.
She pushed her (F/C) sheets off of her and swung her legs over the side of the bed. The coldness of the floor soon greeted her making a small smile appear on her face, it was something about the coldness that gave her comfort. She would sleep with her room being at the coldest temperature as she would wrap herself in blankets. The cold reminded her of all the times she would sleep over at her grandma's house, it was always cold but her grandparents were the warmest things. She remembered snuggling up to them as they watched movies on the tiny TV or when it was time for her naps she would be closely bundled up in her grandma's favorite blankets all smelling like her. The cold didn't bother them. Elsa vibes she joked.
Finally out in town, she looked around the selection of fruits, vegetables and meat. It was probably a good idea that she made a mental note of the things she needed before she left to go to the market but hey she's already here might as well get the things she thought were running low. A couple spices, flour, meats, fish, seaweed and lots of rice. If there's anything you need to know about (Y/N) is that she adores her rice whether it's fried, with miso or curry, on a salad or even plain.
Maybe she over exaggerated but she bought a lot of rice probably enough to last her three months, the bags were heavy yes but she carried it as if it were nothing and made it home in no time. As soon as she entered the house she was greeted by darkness, something that she didn't notice when she left and something that she wasn't really fond of. Dropping the bags on the floor she quickly began opening the curtains, every curtain so that natural light would shine into the rooms just like in her bedroom.
Finally putting everything away, she looked around her, around the house to be specific.
"Yeah I'll clean tomorrow." She said making her way back to her room. Anyways, when she finally made it to her seat on her piano bench. She thought a little of what she wanted to play, she came up with an idea of a song she had heard to which she knew some notes of. She's been rather busy lately so she hasn't had time to learn new songs to play on her precious piano. So she got up to get her small speaker and connected it to her phone.

As the song began she followed with her piano and signing as well. She focuses only on the song playing each key and singing each note delicately. And everything seems to drown out, just the melody, her voice and the music coming from the speaker.
Some people long for a life that is simple and planned
Tied with a ribbon
Some people won't sail the sea 'cause they're safer on land
To follow what's written
But I'd follow you to the great unknown
Off to a world we call our own
As usual sound travelled out her window and into her neighbor's home. No one heard it at first but her loyal simp. He lost himself in her trance almost like the calming of the sea.
Hand in my hand
And we promised to never let go
We're walking a tightrope
High in the sky
We can see the whole world down below
We're walking a tightrope
Never sure, never know how far we could fall
As she kept singing and playing with the keys she began getting frustrated she couldn't seem to be playing well and fumbled on most of the keys, so instead she stopped playing and stuck to singing.
But it's all an adventure
That comes with a breathtaking view
Walking a tightrope
With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
The original plan was for her to learn the piece on the piano but a little singing can't hurt. Right?
With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
With you
Mountains and valleys, and all that will come in between
Desert and ocean
The chatter from inside died down and they were all listening to (Y/N) sing along with the music.
You pulled me in and together we're lost in a dream
Always in motion
So I risk it all just to be with you
And I risk it all for this life we choose
Hand in my hand
And you promised to never let go
We're walking a tightrope
High in the sky
We can see the whole world down below
We're walking a tightrope
Never sure, will you catch me if I should fall?
"I will." Atsumu answered lowly. Earning a quick glance from Suna.
Well, it's all an adventure
That comes with a breathtaking view
Walking a tightrope
With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
With you
With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
With you, ooh, ooh, ooh
With you
As the song came to an end she was somewhat proud of herself. She listened to the song only once before but she knew the lyrics by heart, now if only she could apply this to her piano then she'll be golden. Maybe she could even enter a contest or maybe play for children on the weekends. You see this is why she loved to play the piano, the possibilities were endless.
But there was one thing that was for sure, (L/N) (Y/N), The new kid who happened to be Gin's new friend, Atsumu's new simp target and the Miya's new neighbor, was more than what their first impression was of her. She wasn't like the girls at school who fawn over popularity. (Y/N) was simple yet complex, stable yet unstable.
