"Good morning Ray, Norman!" Emma cheerfully greeted the pair as they were bring the food for everyone. Y/n, who only seemed to be covered in more bandages, walked out from the kitchen, pouting as she helped them carry a pot of soup they made.

"Oh! There you are Y/n! I didn't see you in your bed this morning. Good morning!" Emma said as she noticed the H/c girl who seemed to be sulking, as she turned her head away from the raven-haired boy as he looked unamused at her attitude.

"Good morning, Emma, Norman!" She walked away, ignoring Ray as he stared at her before greeting Emma.

Emma tilted her head at this, a soft smile on her face as she watched this small interaction. "Did you make Y/n mad again Ray? This is the fourth time this week."

He didn't respond to her, simply shrugging his shoulders as he watched Y/n speak with Mama from across the room before she ran past them with her hands in the air. "Bye bye! I'm going to the library!" She cheerful said before tripping on the first step of the stairs, laying on the stairs as Isabella yelled in worry.

Lifting up her head, she held up her shaking thumb to indicate she was alright. "I'm alright Mama." She weakly said before flopping back down as Ray walked over and picked her up by the collar of her shirt.

"You're obviously not, you idiot," he said angrily as he let go and her head hit the stairs again with a thud.

"Idiots don't get hurt." Rubbing her forehead as there was a red bruise on it, she sat up in a daze before slowly crawling up the stairs, as everyone who watched her sweat dropped at her actions before deciding to start breakfast.

"Now, let's get ready for breakfast everyone."

"Yes mama."

As they all got ready to sit down to eat, on top of the stairs sat Y/n, her face hidden by her hair as she hugged her legs close to her chest as she hears everyone talk among themselves downstairs, a frown on her lips as she clench her hands tight.

. . . .

Humming to yourself, you didn't notice the door opening until you felt a hand on your forehead before flickering it.

You fell off the small bookcase and onto the floor, hitting your head as you groaned.

"What the hell!?" You yelled out as your back ached, looking up to see that Ray was the cause of your fall again. "Ray?"

You saw a smirk on his face and huffed out your cheeks in anger, rolling to the side so you could get off your back and sat up. Rubbing your head in pain as a hand reaches out to you, with a confused expression you looked up to see it was Ray who avoided your gaze as you placed your hand into his as he helped you up.

'I swear, this boy is gonna be the death of me.'

Dusting off your white skirt, you groaned as your forehead ached before glaring at the raven haired boy who turned his back on you at this point. A smirk grew on your lips as you jumped on his back, completely catching the boy off guard as he almost fell over with you on him. "Onwards, shorty!" you said pointing a finger in air.

"You little-"

"I'm taller than you so be quiet!"

Ray stayed quiet as he glared at you from behind his shoulder as you grinned, enjoying the fact that he was giving you a piggy back ride even if he didn't want you. The two of you went downstairs to the test room where everyone else was waiting and he let you down carefully before the two of you went to your assigned seats.
