"Hm, hm." Y/n hummed as she looked around the forest, trying to pick a good place to sleep away for the rest of the game. Just as she picked a large, tall tree to climb, Isabella's words echoed in her mind.

"Make sure you're careful while playing today, I don't need your other arm to be sore. And don't try one of your suicidal tactics either. Am I clear?" Isabella said as Y/n pouted, messing with the bandages on her head before nodding.

"Understand." She muttered making the older woman smile, "good. Now run along, it must feel good being outside after stuck in the house for almost two months."

Isabella watched as the H/C girl ran off where Emma and Norman were at, waiting for her.

"I know mama said not to get injured...but rules are meant to be broken." A cat like grin grew on her face as she quickly climbed the tree and onto the very top. She looked above the forest top and looked over to the large wall at the edge of the land. Her gaze was hidden by a cast of a shadow as she stared in that direction, a frown on her lips.

She muttered a few words before the tree she was on shook a bit, looking down she saw Emma a few branches down and watched as Norman tripped and hit the floor. Which made the orange haired girl worry and quickly rush over to the boy who tricked her.

'She falls for it every time, poor Emma.'

She thought as she saw them starting to head back to where Ray and everyone else that were caught. Sighing, she sat down on the branch and closed her eyes, it won't hurt to take a nap while Norman looked for her.

As the H/C haired girl was taking a light nap, Ray, Emma and Norman sat down next to the tree. Norman sighed in defeat, "she beat me once again." He muttered as Emma started to hit the floor in frustration.

Ray who seemed to notice the lack of presence of the girl, closed the book he was reading, catching the attention of Emma and Norman.

"Unlike Norman, it's hard to predict what Y/n is thinking, she's a mystery even if we think we understand her. That twin brother of hers was the same case, both are unreadable-"

"My, I didn't know I was so famous around here and here I thought everyone thought of me as someone who's very clumsy and always getting hurt!" They all flinched as Y/n popped out from the tree, her body hanging upside down with a playful grin on her lips. "And you," she referred to Ray, "are saying some weird things about me, in all honesty, Norman is the smartest one of the four of us, I can only beat him in tag since he lacks physical fitness."

She explains, plopping down next to the raven haired boy and gave them another grin.

Just as Norman was going to say something, Don's voice interrupting him, demanding another round of tag instead everyone was it and Norman had to hide.

"Come on Conny, let's make sure this is your win before you leave to your new family!" Y/n watched Don and Conny from afar as Norman got a head start.

"Ne, do you think we'll get adopted soon." She asked out loud making Emma and Ray looked at her. Emma smiled at this, reassuring her. "Of course! Maybe you'll be adopted by the same family that took your brother in, I mean, it would be sad if you guys were separated!"

Y/n looked at her shocked at her last statement before giving her a small smile. "Hm, I hope I get to see my brother soon! I miss him so much!" She stated happily to Emma who gave her a hug.

Ray's eyes sadden at this, feeling guilt peirce through him at seeing Y/n's face filled with hope at seeing her twin again.

Emma had caught Norman at the small gate they were forbidden to cross, mama telling this as they grew up. One by one, the siblings showed up at the same spot, asking if the game was over.

Gilda seemed to have mention that no one that left the house would sent them any letters and Conny, who was scheduled to leave tonight, had promised to write a lot of her letters and would never forget the time she spent at the house.

Just as everyone was saying what they would do once they would leave the house, a figure in the distance watched from a far with an unreadable expression before walking away, fulling knowing what they wanted.

And soon, the time for Conny to leave was coming as Y/n helped the young girl settle in hee new attire, the same clothes every one of their siblings would wear when they would be adopted. She patted down the coat softly before placed the hat on her head, fixing it perfectly.

"There you go, I'm sure your new parents would simply adore you, Conny." Y/n said as she stood up straight as Conny smiled at her. "Thank you for helping me, Y/n."

"It was the last thing I could do for you Conny, I'm sorry if we didn't spend much time before." Her eyes sadden, which was a rare look on her as Conny hugs her, her E/C eyes watering a bit as she hugs the girl back.

"You're the best older sister anyone could have! I was lucky to have a big sister like you, so I'll make sure to send you a lot of letters after I'm gone." Conny said, her voice muffled against her.

Y/n softly smiles, patting her head at this. "I'll look forward for them."

And so after, Conny left with Isabella after she said her goodbyes to everyone else down stairs.

____

Ray watches from a distance as Y/n was making sure everyone was getting ready to sleep, he studied her face, the same white bandages covering her eye along with her arms, her smile.....before turning around to look outside the window feeling his cheeks heating up.

"Ray? You're not heading to sleep yet?" Y/n said approaching him after feeling a pair of eyes on her, concluding it was him. Without looking at her, he replied. "I'll wait for Emma and Norman to come back after delivery little bunny to Conny.

Y/n nodded at this, "I see, I hope they don't get into too much trouble if mama finds out. Anyways, good night Ray." She waves at him before disappearing into the dark hallway as Ray continues to look out the window.

"Good night, Y/n...."

____

Unknowingly to Y/n, who was tucking in Phil for the night, her friends had discovered the horrified secret of Grace Field house and were running away from the gate.

"That wasn't Conny, right? Conny is with her new family, right?" Emma asked, not wanting to believe that what they saw in the back of the truck and in the blue liquid container, was their sibling.

Norman looked at her with sadden eyes, "I-I'm afraid, that was Conny." He said which made the girl burst into tears, before giving out a scream that echoed into the night as Norman tried to comfort the girl.
