for the first time in a few months, they had a day completely to themselves. it was tuesday which meant iggy was at nursery, but rosa and gina both had the day off.

'this is weird, it's so quiet without a child running around' rosa stated, running her hand through her wife's hair.

gina was lying down on the couch with her head in rosa's lap 'i know, i don't like it' she complained, 'it's too quiet.'

'i mean it's nice, but it doesn't feel right. i feel like we should be looking after ig instead of doing nothing whilst someone we barely know looks after her.'

gina looked up at rosa and smiled.

'what?' rosa questioned.

'you used to hate kids and now you hate being away from one,' gina reminded her wife.

rosa rolled her eyes 'yeh because i hadn't met iggy yet, obviously.'

'i mean, when i'm this perfect it's hard for my kid not to be,' she laughed

'you're not even wrong, you're perfect and so is iggy,' rosa smiled. 'she's so perfect that i actually miss her not being here' she added

'we're literally gonna see her in 3 hours and we dropped her off this morning'

'yeh but... whatever,' she didn't want to admit that she'd grown to love kids, but she really did. 'did you ever want more kids?'

'uhhh,' gina hesitated. was rosa asking because she wanted more? or maybe she wanted to make sure gina definitely didn't want more? 'do you? i mean you didn't want them to start with s-'

'yeh but iggy's perfect,' rosa interrupted, 'and i'm sure our next kid will be too... if you want one'

'really?' tears began to form in gina's eyes, 'you want another screaming, crying baby, who will turn into an annoying little toddler, and then a gr-' gina was interrupted again

'yes i want another one, if it's with you and if you want one, so do i,' she smiled and before she could take another breath, gina's arms were wrapped around her tightly.

'i love you so much,' gina said as tears began to fall

'i love you too, gi,' rosa replied as she pulled away and wiped the tears from gina's face. 'i love you so so much,' she smiled
