rosa would still take iggy to nursery when she was supposed to go, which was most days during the week, so that her and gina could have some time to themselves.

they just moped around the house usually, rosa would make sure they still ate throughout the day and she tried to be the strong one when she could be.

a month and a half of doing this had passed and they were both sick of it, but they didn't know what else to do. they didn't want to go to work because then they'd have to tell everyone and whenever they spoke about it they'd cry. rosa definitely didn't want to cry in front of the squad.

they were cuddled up on the couch when gina asked rosa, 'do you still want another kid one day? not right now, it's too soon, but one day do you think you'll want one?'

rosa nodded, 'if you're okay with it then yeh i do, whenever you're ready.'

'i do, of course i do, but i don't know when i'll be ready or if i wanna carry it. what if we lose it again?'

'it's okay if you're not ready, we're not gonna lose it.' she paused, 'and i guess if you don't wanna then i could have our baby... i guess?'

gina looked at her, 'seriously?'

rosa nodded and smiled, 'only when we're both absolutely sure. only when we're both ready.'

gina nodded in agreement.

rosa wrapped her arms around gina, 'you wanna maybe go out and do something today?'

'we could take iggy to the park when we pick her up later?'

'yeh.'

'or...'

'or?'

'it just sounded like you had another idea.'

'i don't wanna keep calling our baby 'it' or 'the baby', they had a heartbeat so they should have some kind of name.'

'what do you wanna call them?'

'i don't know,' rosa said. 'is this stupid?'

'is what stupid? that you're sad about our angel being... gone? no, that's normal.'

'what about angel? you just called them 'our angel' so we can call them angel, what do you think?' rosa suggested hesitantly, not wanting to sound stupid

'it's perfect,' gina smiled, 'and so are you.' she added.

rosa smiled, 'you wanna go pick ig up and take her to the park then?'

'mhm, you ready to go?'

'yeh but you might wanna get dressed first,' rosa laughed

gina laughed with her and went to get changed, coming back a few minutes later

'when was the last time i even got dressed properly?'

rosa just looked at her

'roooo,' gina said whilst dragging her off the couch by her hand

rosa just wrapped her arms around gina again, 'thanks gi.'

'for what?'

'saying i wasn't being stupid.'

'you weren't, i know you don't like emotions but you still have them. we just lost our angel ro, it's okay to feel.'

'i love you so so much gi,' she hugged her tighter.

'and i still love you more,' she smiled as she pulled rosa towards the front door to go pick up their daughter
