three.

a few weeks after they'd found out gina was pregnant, her morning sickness started, only it wasn't just in the morning it was whenever it wanted to be, throughout the day. rosa didn't really know what to do since she wasn't there the first time round, but she did her best.

rosa's 7.20 alarm hadn't gone off yet, but she woke up early which happened quite a lot. she opened her eyes to see her wife wasn't in bed, and gina never got up before she had to. rosa guessed she was in the bathroom so she went to check.

gina was laying there on the bathroom tiles when rosa walked in. 'was it really bad again last night?' rosa asked, already knowing the answer.

gina just nodded.

'why don't we try and sit you up?' rosa asked, not wanting to push her too far so she threw up again.

gina shook her head, 'cold floor, hot me,' she said, sounding half asleep.

rosa was concerned, not about the 'cold floor, hot me' thing, that was probably just gina telling the world she's hot. she was concerned that pregnancy was having such an effect on her wife.

'come on, let's get you up. i'll put the fan on in our room and then you'll be cooler, yeh?'

'no bu-' she leaned over the toilet bowl and threw up what was left of her guts, which wasn't much, and then sat up, leaning her head against the wall, 'but i might throw up again.' she continued

rosa sighed, she wanted to help gina but there was no way she could. 'okay how about i take ig to nursery, we both call in sick and we sleep all day?'

a slight smile crept onto gina's face at the thought of sleeping all day, something she hadn't done since before she had iggy.

'mkay let's get you in bed and i'll put the fan on and then i'll sort ig out and take her to nursery,' rosa said as she helped her wife up

rosa got gina settled in bed and played with her hair for a bit before her 7.20 alarm  disturbed the peace and woke gina up

'do we have to get up already?' she mumbled, half asleep.

'no baby, you're staying here,' she reminded her wife, 'my alarm wasn't meant to go off,' she said before kissing gina's head. 'try and get some more rest.'

rosa waited a few minutes until gina's eyes were shut before getting up and turning the fan on. then she got dressed, got iggy up and ready, gave her breakfast and took her to nursery.

she arrived back to gina still sound asleep on the bed, just as she was 20 minutes earlier before she and iggy left. rosa put an alarm on for 2.45, just in case they weren't awake when they had to pick iggy up, and lay down on the bed wrapping her arms around gina's stomach.

she knew gina was asleep but before rosa could drift off, she said 'you're perfect baby,' and smiled. it was like gina knew because she rolled over, so she was now facing rosa, which made rosa smile.

'i love you so much,' rosa said softly as she fell asleep.
