rosa had bought up what she told captain holt with gina too, when they got home. gina agreed that she felt different when she did when she was pregnant with iggy, so they decided they would go to the doctor.

rosa had gotten herself and iggy ready and was waiting for gina to get ready so they could leave.

'babeee,' gina yelled from the bathroom as she started crying.

rosa ran in, 'what is it baby? you okay?'

gina wrapped her arms around rosa and didn't pull away for a while, rosa was confused but she stood there and comforted her wife.

rosa didn't pull away but she started to panic after a couple of minutes, 'baby, can you tell me what's up?'

gina didn't wanna say it, she shook her head.

'can you try and show me then?'

gina pulled away from the hug and stepped to the side so rosa could see what was on the floor behind her.

rosa saw and immediately pulled gina towards her again.

'it's okay baby, nothing's definite yet okay? we're gonna go to the doctor now anyway. it's not your fault,' rosa said as she held back the tears.

gina wanted to stay wrapped in rosa's arms forever but she also wanted to get out of the moment she was in and forget it.

'i'm sorry,' she said into rosa's shoulder, still crying.

'baby, it's okay. it's not your fault and we don't know anything for certain yet,' rosa tried to reassure gina, she told herself she was fine but she was trying to comfort herself too.

she looked over gina's shoulder at the puddle of blood on the floor and then hugged her tighter. 'it's okay,' she whispered, comforting them both.

rosa tried to fight the tears back but she couldn't any longer. she buried her head into gina's hair and let out a few quiet sobs. she had to stay strong for gina and iggy. and for the baby that they'd have one day.

they stayed as they were for a few more minutes before gina pulled away from rosa. she looked at her wife, 'i'm sorry,' she said again.

rosa tried to speak but she couldn't, she couldn't get the words out. she just shook her head and tried to tell gina that it wasn't her fault.

she managed to sob out, 'don't be sorry,' before leaning into gina and starting to cry again.

gina held her wife tight as the tears started again
