Chapter 66 - Break Up in Florence (Part 2)

(Liam’s P.O.V.)

We stood on the stage in a circle. We had just sang moments. I looked up at Niall, you could see the pain in his face. 

“I’m sorry.” I mouthed to him, he nodded. We ran off the stage. We had one more song and then the concert was over.

“Liam I can’t think straight. All I can think about is her.” 

“I know mate, but we’ve got one more song. You’ve made it this far.” I padded him on the back and then continued changing. 

“Alright.” We went back on stage and sang the last song, and then said goodnight.

When we got back to the hotel, we went into our respective hotel rooms. Niall stopped at a door, and just stared at it. 

“Niall, come on Mate.”

“The girls are probably in there.” he said looking sad. 

“I’ll go look.” I said knocking on the door. Niall went down to his room, and Sydney answered the door. 

“Hey Liam.”

“Hey Syd, how are you?”

“I’ve been better. How was the concert.”

“It was good....” 

“You looking for Hillary?”

“Uhh yeah.” she disapeared into the room. A few seconds later Hillary came out followed by the other girls, minus Darrian. “You gonna be ok?”

“Yeah....I will for now.” Syd said then Hillary and I left the room and Syd shut the door.

"She's not ok Liam..." Hillary said

"I know..." I sighed and we went into our room.

(Syd's P.O.V.)

"You sure you're ok?" D asked me before leaving with Darcy

"Yeah..." i said then my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey Syd it's Penelope"

"Oh hey Pen what's up?"

"We'll there's a benefit concert tomorrow in Florence to raise money for breast cancer research and I you guys were asked to play. Is that something you guys would wanna do?"

"Yeah sure! I'll talk to the girls and see if they wanna do it, then text you."

"Sounds good, but let me know ASAP."

"Ok" I hung up and told D about it, then called Paige and explained again. Once I got they're approval, I texted Pen and let her know.

“Well, I’m gonna go be with my husband.” D said and smiled. “Boy do I love saying that”I laughed.

“You want me to take her for the night?” 

“Really?”

“You and Harry deserve a night alone, I’ll take her.” She handed me Darcy.

“Are you sure?”

“Get the hell out of my hotel room.” I smiled and she walked out. “How ‘bout it Darcy? Kiki with Auntie Syd.” I smiled at her and we kinda just danced around for a bit. “You know, you are going to be a spoiled little girl you know that? But you come to Auntie Syd when you wanna go to your first bar ok? I’ll be the cool aunt.” she giggled a bit.

I sat down on the bed thinking about when Darrian got in the accident, and Niall and I watched Darcy. 

“I miss him Darcy. I miss him a lot.” she stopped smiling. “I know, but you still get to see him. I look at him, and I just wanna cry. I wanna curl up in a ball and cry.” at that point Darcy started crying. “Oh no don’t cry hun. Shhhh. It’s ok.” She stopped and I rocked her to sleep, and then I fell asleep.
