Chapter 41 - Welcome back to L.A.

(Paige’s P.O.V.)

Three months had passed since we found out about Darrian. The boys were still on tour, and we hadn’t seen them in three months. But today we were flying to L.A. talk about jetlag! and then they expected us to do an interview tomorrow? This ought to be good. 

The interview also happened to fall on Darrian’s birthday. So we have a little surprise planned.

I finished up my packing and then put my stuff in the car. Then helped Darrian with her stuff. We were picking up Syd and Kalyn also. The awkward thing, is that Liam and Danielle broke up about 2 months ago. I guess Danielle texted him saying that she just wanted to be friends. 

It was sad for all of us. We all thought that Liam and Danielle would be the first to get married. Liam hasn’t been himself lately either. It was going to be quite awkward since this was sort of a couples weekend. 

I was extremely excited to see Lou because it had been 3 months since I’d last seen him, and watching the interviews wasn’t the same. 

We drove to the airport and went to the terminal. When they called us, we walked onto the plane and sat down preparing ourselves for the 11 hour flight.

Hopped off the plane at LAX with a dream and my cardigan 

I hummed to myself as we got off the plane. I went over to baggage claim and got my bags, and waited for the girls to get theirs. We went towards the exit which is where the boys said to meet them. 

“Where are they?”

“Knowing them, they couldn’t get Zayn up.” Kalyn said laughing.

“God I forgot how hot it is here.” D said.

“Are you sure you don’t want to go back inside? This heat can’t be good for........you........” Syd said. 

“Stop being motherly to the mother, I’m fine.” 10 minutes past, then 20, then 30.”

“Will someone call them please!” I pulled out my phone and just as I was about to hit Lou’s number, we saw a van pull up and Paul was inside. 

“COME ON GET IN GET IN!” he yelled. We looked at him confused, but got in the van. The boys were sitting in the back. I smiled looking at Louis.

“Oh just come here and kiss me!” he said pulling me on his lap and kissing me. I pulled away looking at the other couples singing that they were doing the same thing. I turned back to Louis. “I missed you.”

“I missed you too.” I said putting my head on his shoulder. He kissed my cheek.

“Someone’s rather sleepy.” he said. 

“Not as sleepy as some!” I said looking at Sydney who was already passed out in Niall’s lap. We all laughed.

“Don’t laugh at me!” she said we all shut up.

“That is still creepy.” Harry said. 

“Shut it Curly.” His eyes went wide. I was just laughing it was so funny. 

“GUYS WAIT!” I yelled. 

“WHAT?!”

“Can we stop at the cupcake ATM? I’ve always wanted to go there.”

“CUPCAKES?!” Syd said shooting awake.

“Were you really sleeping?”

“Don’t mess with Syd and her sleep. It’s not going to end well.” D said.
