Chapter 17 - Months Later

May 2013

( Syd's P.O.V.)

Going back to school was a hard change. Since we were officially famous, everyone wanted to be with us. We were followed everywhere. The only good thing, was that all of the freshmen boys carried our books and things to our classes. We had to stop eating in the cafeteria because people would fight over sitting next to us. We ended up just hiding in the autotorium. So I guess you could say our lives changed dramatically. It was hard to tell if our old friends were still our friends. Even Sarah and Alyssa were trying to get in on the fame. It was all really overwhellming. 

You're probably aslo wondering what happened to David. Well, a few weeks after the.....insident.....he went to trial. Roger is fine by the way, so he didn't get charged for the murder thing. I haven't heard from him in a while though. I've been trying to avoid him all together. I'm not even sure if he's in jail or not. But he's out of my life, and I'm ok with that. 

When the album came out, it was as if One Direction were at the stores themselves. We decided to make a video to update the fans. We were headed to our walmart after school to see what was going on there. 

We walked in with a video camera. My sister was the one filming.

"Hey guys we're here to update you on what's going on in our lives!" I said

"We're here at Walmart to see how our CD is doing." D said we walked inside and then went to the Electronics section. We found our name, and looked under it.

"Would you look at that. We're sold out!" D said. 

"What are you talking about. There's one copy right there." The camera went to the CD rack. 

"Nuh uh!" 

"Darrian, I can see the CD it's right there." Paige said. D grabbed the CD and went to the checkout people and bought the CD.

"See, sold out!" I rolled my eyes.

"Why on earth would you do that?"

"Because I want us to remember this moment 50 years from now. I want to remember what it felt like being sold out." my phone started to ring so I answered. 

"Hello?" It was Penelope.

"Hey, so I have some good news, and some bad news."

"Bad first." 

"You guys didn't make number 3...." my face fell. 

"Well that's ok I guess-"

"YOU MADE NUMBER 1!" 

"WHAT! AHHHHHHH!" yup I just screamed in the middle of walmart. I ran over to the checkout desk thing and grabbed the microphone thing. 

"Attention ladies and gentlemen. My name is Sydney Gustafson, I'm in the band PDS, and I'd just like to announce that we made NUMBER 1! WOOOOOO!" the girls screamed, and there was a large amount of claping throughout the whole store. I hugged my sister and the girls. We decided it would be a good time to leave. WE got in the car and started to drive. 

Up next a new it from the new band PDS here's Love Actually

"OH MY GOD WE'RE ON THE RADIO!" we screamed. I was driving so it was kind of hard to celebrate. We all went to my house to hang out.

As soon as I stepped inside the house I grabbed my phone and called Niall. 

"Hello?"

"WE MADE #1!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed.

"That's incredible Love!" 

"I know! Penelope called when we were in walmart, and I screamed in the middle of the store." he laughed. 

"I'm so happy for you."

"Thank you so so so sooo much." 

"What for?"

"Everything." he laughed again. 

"I love you."

"I love you too" 

"I gotta go, some meeting about something." 

"I see talk to you later?'

"Of course." I hung up and went on twitter.

Made #1! You guys are truely amazing! I also posted the video with that. 

We all just celebrated for a few hours, but then the girls went home since we had school the next day.

I got out of bed and started dancing around my room listening to LWWY while getting ready. I grabbed all of my stuff and got in the car. I picked up Paige and Darrian and we went to school. (ewwww school)

When we got there, I parked my car in our usual spot then we walked to the door. When we opened the door, there was a huge mob of people lined up on either side of a red carpet. There was also a huge banner that said "Congrats PDS!" on it. 

"Oh."

"My." 

"God." we slowly walked down the carpet to our lockers. People were following us everywhere. 

Can we please have Sydney, Paige, and Darrian to the office please. 

People were still following us as we went to the office. 

"Alright guys, we're gonna go in. Go to class." D said getting annoyed. We walked in and sat down. 

"Hey Jeff." we said to the principle. 

"Hey girls." Yeah we got away with that.

"So what's up?"

"Well, as you know, prom is tomorrow." 

"Yes, yes we know."

"Well, the students want you to sing at the prom."

"I don't know...." we said. 

"Think about it, and then get back to me on it."

"Okay." we left the office to find a mob of people outside. Darrian sighed loudly.

"YOU PEOPLE NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!" she yelled. Everyone stopped talking. They separated. 

"Thank you. Now go to class and stop following us around.....it's weird." they dispursed and left us alone. 

"Finally." 

We went to our classes. When it was time for lunch, we went to the autotorium and ate in there. 

"Guys, we're like international poptarts now...." Paige said

"Poptarts?"

"I mean popstars" we laughed. When we were done eating we went back to our last classes.
