Chapter 2 - Single Showdown

(Paige's P.O.V.)

Liam and Zayn showed up with Perrie and Danielle. 

"Hey girls!" I said when they walked in.

"hey!" they said. 

"Well, I want to hear this new single of yours." I said to the boys. 

"Leggo." Niall said. 

"I see we're rubbing off on you." I said. 

"Some more then others." D whispered. Syd elbowed her. "What?" she asked innocently. 

"You both set me up for that with your presant!" she said.

"Do I even want to know?" Danielle whispered to me. 

"Let's just say D and I gave her a black bandeau bikini for her birthday, and well yeah." Danielle gasped. 

"You go girl!" she said to Syd. Her face went bright red. 

"Oh calm down, let's just do this." I said. We had made our way to the bacement recording studio

"Boys first." D said. 

"Holy recording studio." Zayn said. 

"Dude that's what I said." Niall said. 

"Oh stop drooling and get in the booth." I said. 

"What happened to laddies first?" Zayn said. 

"I'm feeling generous today." D said. 

"But we insist. You have to go first." Liam said.

"hahaha no." I said. 

"Come on!!!!" Lou said. 

"Sorry love." I said. 

"Why can't you go first?" Harry said

"Because, Harry, you just have to." Syd said. 

"But babe!" he said turning to D

"No buts. Get yours into the booth." she said. 

"Have you guys heard this yet?" I asked Danielle and Perrie. 

"Depends on which one they do." I nodded. They went into the booth and did their song. We clapped when they were done, and then they came out.

"Your turn!" Harry said. 

"We already went." Syd said smiling.

"Ummm no you haven't, we went first remember." I said

"Remember that day when we had that campfire jam session?" they all nodded. 

"Then you've heard one of the songs on our album" D said smirking. 

"You are so-" 

"Nice words Malik!" D said glaring at him. He backed off. 

"Ok, but that wasn't your single. We said single." 

"Umm no you didn't." I said. 

"Yeah we did." Harry said said.

"1. Don't give me attitude Styles. and 2. You said you wanted to hear a song from our album." I smirked. Then highfived the girls. 

"But what about." Niall started. Syd  walked over to him, then kissed him to shut him up.

"Ok guys seriously get a room." 

"There's one upstairs we could go right now." Syd said turning to Niall.

"I think that's a swell idea." Niall said. 

"Ok TMI! No need to go there." Harry said.  

"We were only kidding."

"You weren't kidding last night." D said under her breath. Everyones eyes went wide. 

"Oh don't act like you've never done it!" Syd said. 

"Yeah, but.......what?" Liam said. 

"Is it really that shocking?" Niall said. 

"No, but we didn't see that coming."

"I did!" D and I said. 

"How?" 

"Her birthday present." I said smiling. Everyone looked confused. Syd rolled her eyes. 

"Last night, Niall took me to the beach to have a picnic for my brithday." 

"Is that where you......." 

"No Harry I have a little more dignity then doing it in a public place!" Syd snapped. "Anyway, so the girls decided it would be a good idea to get me an outfit for the date." 

"I wanna see the outfit" Dan said. 

"Come on I'll show you." D said, and then we were in Syd's closet. D and I held up the dress and bathing suit. 

"Oh well if she was wearing that." Harry said. Syd's jaw dropped. D back handed his chest. 

"Dude seriously?" Niall said. Harry put his hands up in deffence. 

"You should just stop talking now." Lou said.

"Yeah...." he said. 

"Are we done? Does any one need the other details?" Syd said. 

"NOOOO!" we all said. 

"Good." she said. 

"Now, what do you say we have a battle of the bands on the Wii?" D said. 

"Ohhhh can we do it at your house on the big screan?!!!" I said. 

"OOOH yeahh!" Syd said. 

"Wait, your tv isn't a big screan?" Niall said. We started laughing. They just stared at us.

"Oh you were serious." I said. 

"Leggo, you ain't seen nothin' yet." D said. We went out the door. We had to take multiple cars because we didn't all fit into 1. Harry, Lou, D, and I were in D's car. Liam, Zayn, Dan, and Perrie in whatever car they came in. And Syd and Niall were in Syd's car. We drove to D's house to have a battle of the bands. This was gonna be good.
