I went to my dorm not long after leaving Malfoy's. That self centered disrespectful prick, is this the way he'll make me tell him things? Destroying the things I hold dearest?
After my dad destroyed every memory of my mothers I made sure to grab and keep this book before he destroyed it too. This book is the only thing I have left of hers, the one thing that keeps me close to her, with her perfect lovely writing on the margins, some pages still linger with her beautiful scent. I don't know how I'll be able to move forward if I don't have this. Her book.
Malfoy can destroy me. Peace by piece, limb by limb just not this. Not my mother. I don't know how I'll react if he ever does something to this book again, one thing for sure I'll know my anger and sadness will take over. But I won't regret a single thing I'll do.
One of the perks of growing up in the muggle world is that you have useful things most people in the wizarding will find odd. One of those things is tape.
I made sure to pack tape and other muggle stuff. Knowing this book by heart I knew where to tape the pages back, luckily my mothers handwriting is still intact and beautiful as ever.
After this long night I decided to sleep with her book not wanting to leave my side to make sure it's okay. I know tomorrow will be a long day and I need to be at least well rested for the day that awaits me.
June 19, 1996
Before everyone left the meeting Harry told us to meet him in the room of requirement early morning before anybody would even be awake. It's Saturday so nobody was to worry about classes.
I took a hot shower, letting the water relax me and my thoughts.
Malfoy will be a big problem for me, him being the second most powerful wizarding family not to mention his father is a death eater. I don't reckon Malfoy will be too far behind just like me, but the difference between me and him is that I choose good. I want light to win. Him on the other hand will not be on our side.
I can't let him know what's going on with me and Dumbledore's army. Me in general. Nobody knows yet of our family's return, I'm guessing Malfoy knows something but that something are just crumbs. Not the full story.
I finish getting ready and head over to the room of requirement just like I'm told. The hallways are peaceful and quiet, the tapping on my shoes as I walk makes an echo throughout the large castle.
The sun is so bright and shiny reflecting over the windows, beautiful echoes of birds all over the hallways. I live for these beautiful peaceful moments, the little moments show just how beautiful life can be, how peaceful it can be.
I open the door to the room and see Harry and a couple of other people huddled up around a table. I make my way over to see plans laid out on the table.
Plans?
"We need to get that prophecy before Voldemort gets ahold of it." Harry says, his tone full of desperation.
"What's going on here?" I take a hold of the plans taking a better look at what I'm seeing. The ministry of magic?
"Me, Harry, Ron, Luna, Neville, and Ginny will be going to the ministry on magic tonight to get Harry's prophecy. We know Vol- Voldemort wants it, he'll use it to his advantage if we don't get it first." Hermione says, snatching the papers out of my hand and setting them back on the table. I give her a stern look but shove it off. It's too early in the morning for her coldness.
"Everyone knows what to do when we're gone, hopefully it goes well and we ge-"
"I want to come." I quickly cut off Harry. I'm good with protective spells and good at protecting other people, this plan sounds dangerous and can quickly backfire. They might not need me but they'll need my skills.
