It had been a month and still no success with the cabinet, it had been a month and no success with killing Dumbledore.

But on that part there had been no success because I've stalled and lied. Malfoy wasn't dumb and he knew since that first week we reported to King manor that I had lied, of course he'd used that against me.

"Report." Father appeared at the entrance, his direction towards me

"No success with repairing the cabinet." I dared not look into his eyes, I couldn't bear to see how different his eyes have become but still hold that same comforting colour.

"And Dumbledore?" He started growing inpatient.

I looked over to Malfoy seeing his calm expression, but also anger in his eyes. But they weren't towards me. No. They were towards my father.

Why was he angry at him? Has something happened that I'm oblivious about?

"No success either."

"You foolish girl. I will be reporting this to the dark lord. He won't be happy about it." He spats.

We stand there in silence, the unwanted presences growing stronger, the air so thin I feel like I'm not getting enough air.

"You may leave." We're his last words before he slams the door on us.

I put a freshly new rose I found on the grounds, I lift my wand attempting once more.

"Harmonia nectere passus." I chant the incantation, repeating it once more, I open my eyes and open the cabinet to find the flower shriveled and dead. I sigh failing once more.

"You need to feel it." Malfoy speaks up from behind, I turn, giving him a nasty look while he's peacefully sitting on the couch.

"I am."

"Not enough apparently."

"Can you just shut up? You're not the one doing this."  I take out the dead flower, replacing it with a freshly new one.

I repeat the incantation once more, this time with more feeling like Malfoy suggested. I open it again to only find the flower dead once more, slamming the cabinet door out of frustration.

I hear him click his tongue shuffling towards me, "move." He appears behind me.

I narrow my eyes, my lips forming into a line before doing as he says. I let him try it out knowing it won't be as easy as he claims it to be. He takes out the flower and puts in the last remaining living flower.

"Harmonia nectere passus." He chants, saying it once more before hearing a click. He opens the door to find the flower still living.

My mouth gapes open in shock, he looks over to me with a smug look plastered on his face.

Instead of saying something I grab the closest thing that's next to me and throw it towards his face. He dodges the metal ball I didn't know I grabbed, and  in retaliation he grabs something and throws it towards my stomach.

I shield myself behind a bookshelf from Malfoy's throw, and he does the same but behind the couch he was once on.

"Just admit I'm better!" He throws a book at me.

"No!" I throw a wooden bat towards him.

I grab a wooden kids lookalike car hitting him at the corner of his head. His eyes looked directly to me, his face changing to a sudden anger. He flicks his wand, sending everything that was in his path launching to me.
