The Formless

Entry 8

The voltarus have grow to like me here, I think. They seem to trust me but are still cautious. I told them I needed to head home but elmira and amaya wanted to go with me. I told them to ask their parents (kinda feel bad I told them that since amaya only has her mother and elmira only has her brother). It kinda backfired on me in that their brother and mother wanted to come too. I brought them to my little house. As it turns out ardoni dont build houses so they were very suspicious of this.
They all instantly fell in love with hundo and hundo was very happy to see me after the long trip, it's a good thing my scent stayed the same or else this would have been awkward. The girls played fetch and other games with hundo for a while while I talked to the adults.
Amaya's mother is very kind and elmira's brother is very quiet. They think my name is very strange for an ardoni also, for any species as a matter of a fact.
I decided to sleep outside with hundo while the kids slept on the bed and the adults slept on the couches for the guests I never have. It's kinda sad this may be the only true bed they have ever slept on.
I wonder if I should tell them what I am. Would they fear me. They have only known fear and betrayal all their lives. Perhaps I can change that for these friends I've grown to love.
