The Formless

Lore reference

This is not part of the story but merely a reference to look at if you get confused on any lore. The lore will not be listed in the order it is introduced so you need to worry about spoilers.  It just may explain some things that make not a whole lot of sense.
Formless species- a species of being that lives a little over 1000 years. They are shape shifters with a unique form for each species they contact with. These different forms are independent of the formless and die without the formless itself dying (this is done by channeling the creational energy flowing through the world which is strongest at the heart of ardonia). If a form dies they can take it again while touching another formless who has that species form.
Higher forms- higher forms are forms of uniquely great impact and uniqueness in their world. They usually have a great deal of power and are the only one of their kind. They are non-transferable between other formless meaning it is rare for a formless to have one much less one of the same kind of being. It takes a great deal of strain to hold these forms and less mature formless could even pass out from trying to take one.
Form seeds- form seed are like an ore of everything that has built up in the formless in memories and emotions. Strength included. Eating one would great great strength and allow you to live as long as your life plus the life of a formless. But that is seen as a great atrocity like desecrating a body and was only ever done by truly evil people
When planted a unique flower will grow called a form flower that when touched will show all the memoris of the formless
Formless history- the formless are nearly extinct but used to rule ardonia long ago.
Formless biology- formless must eat not to sustain the body but the mind. Their body does not need it but the mind needs it to keep sanity. They don't need water though. They have white glowing skin and silver glowing white hair. Their eyes are black with a stream of black energy floating through the air and fading away behind them. The pupils can glow any color and is not related to the parent's colors. However there is only ever one formless alive at a time with a certain color of eyes even if the difference is extremely small. They have black blood and flesh and white bones. Formless reproduction is as simple as a kiss which initiates a new formless being created. (This is done by both parents contributing their own energy to the process through the before mentioned streams of energy from the eyes). formless come male and female. However these male and female formless have no reproductive parts. The male formless simply tend to be more muscular and have protective tendencies. Males also have longer streams of energy from the eyes than Females. Females tend to be less muscular but lighter and more agile and have Mamary glands to help the baby formless grow quickly. The behavior and physical attributes can vary greatly though. They are human sized. Their growth rate is extremely fast at first ageing to about 5 year old sized in one year. But slows down to seeming to grow by a year every decade by the time they are over 600.
Formless culture- formless are generally extremely peaceful and very analytical doing more thinking than doing. Their marriage customs involve a hug (this hug links their two energy streams) this hug initiates a transfer of memories and makes them permanently feel each other's emotions and have each other's dreams until one dies. They usually plant their form seeds -aka. bury their dead- on the islands floating around the heart of ardonia. Formless get their names when they get their form. This is when they gain the ability to change form usually around fifty years old. The process is caused by fear. They are named after the last object they touched and the last adjective they said pre-form finding.
Relics (form conduits)- these are ancient items that unlock great powers through the power of creation. They don't make a power but merely filter the powers for the user to use with more ease. These relics can have almost any power imaginable. Too many however can have a strain on the mind that causes insanity and even death. The only way they don't die is if an extremely powerful emotion is in control love love or anger. With those the relics simply lose the filters and all the powers flow through them. On essence they can do anything they can imagine. However their mind descends into madness and once the emotion is gone they simply fade away into nothingness.
Sandrai- beings made purely out of sand with a skeleton of sandstone. The sandstone eventually grows in to spikes all over the body over time. They live about 20 years making their lifespan very short. That simply pop out of the ground due to a concentration of creation energy the same way magnorites form. This is why they live for such a short time. Sandrai are all feminine in the same way magnorites are all masculine.
Folians- being made of plants. They reproduce just like plants and don't speak but instead communicate with sounds from nature. They avoid all civilization so not much is known of them.
Prime beasts-  we're formed from the prime songs using the form energy from a formless to create a sentient animal like form for themselves that speaks. Song beasts are like prime beast but are made from songs and can't talk. They both look like animals that have some correlation with their power. An ardoni used their power with their permission. This takes strain off the ardoni and preserves the mind but more training is needed for song and ardoni to get in sync.
Formlings- a variant of formless who due to exile distancing them from the heart of ardonia they have more trouble harnessing creation energy. They cannot take superior forms, have limited number of forms, and die with their forms. However due to less strain on the body harnessing the energy from before they can live over 3000 years old.
Formbeasts- a beastly form that a formless can take. It appears due to a great deal of pain mental such as losing something or someone they love. Female formbeast have a constant form and retain their intelligence making them not quite animalistic in action and more calculated. Males are pretty much just animals. Except their beast will change to fit needs only maintaining a rough shape.
Formblade- this relic is very unique and gets its own entry. It is only a hilt and the blade can change it's shape to fit needs even changing what it is like if a bow or spear is needed. It can be any weapon the user can see clearly in their mind. It also equips a nearly indestructible armor (only weapons like other relics or songs can damage it) on the users body that can also change it's shape for needs, even adding limbs. It also has a place for a formseed to be placed. This slows the load to be shared to allow more relics to be used at once. The user can take any forms even if they are dead that the one whose seed is inside had. If the seed had a beast form the two's beasts merge together to make one. The stronger the connection to the dead the better it works.
Planes of existence- there are three planes of existence. There is the realm of time and reality. These are results of every possible eventuality of every choice or chance. It grows like a tree as time goes on. Next is the mind realm. In this realm resides every idea of mankind that has been shared or is inside a living person's head and is yet to see the light of day. It is equally as vast and these world can be as large as multiverses with other ideas being linked to others. Every idea from worlds and objects to people and monsters reside here. This is bridge's plane of existence. Last is base plane. This is our world. It is linked to both of the other two. The other two can be glimpsed from our world but they cannot be entered by us. Ideas can enter our plane though through being made or other means. The idea realm flows with creation energy constantly negating the before mentioned formling change.
Enchantments- enchantments are done in a complicated process. The enchanter holds the item and meditates on it. Eventually they see letters and read them in their mind. This activated the enchantment along with channeling energy into the item. More energy the stronger the enchantment. Books remove the meditation process. Humans are best suited for this because of their clearer minds.
Yeah I think I over did it lol
