The Formless

These people call themselves the formians. They are not like me they only appear that way. They have a limit on how many forms they can take, they die with their forms, no prime forms, and no beast forms. This is due to do many generations being away from the heart of ardonia. Apparently it is what gives out power by channeling it's energy to change form. They instead rely on their own power and minds to change form which takes more focus. However by not channeling this energy through their body constantly it has allowed them to live nearly 3 times my life span. The elders are over 3000 years old.
They then told me the story of how they ended up here. I shall recount it to you.
Long ago, in an age nobody can remember anymore, the formless lived in peace at the heart of ardonia and preserved the peace between the three realms. But the peoples of ardonia, the nether, and the end feared their power and attacked. They drove the people all the way towards the sea. There the royal family made a final stand so their people could escape and sent the powerful relics with them so they would be protected. The relics are powerful weapons only true formless can weird. They were designed by monk who studied a language of yeses and nos that flowed through the whole world's very existence.
There they believed all the royal family had perished forever. That was until they heard of an entire city being wiped out by a huge white monster that constantly changed it very shape but was most like a dragon. This could only be a form beast and they realized one is alive. Apparently I am the last known descendant of the ancient royal family.
They say some of the people wish to try to return to ardonia and they want me to lead them. They will give me some relics tomorrow and we will leave in a week.
This could be a chance to start fresh, to no longer live in fear as I have all my life. I only wish my family could see this. To think my little girl really was a princess.
