Who am I? What am I? I can't remember anything.

Hm... right. Yes, it's slowly...coming back.

I am... Arcane!!

How did all this happen again?

I believe it was a few months ago, when peace was threatened. Where I had began my fight.

********** 10 years earlier**********

——-Arcane's point of view——-

-On a small secluded island south of the continent of Majera the story of Arcane begins-

Blue. Ahead of me was a world undiscovered and unexplored. Who really knows what lives in the depths of the ocean? Above the ocean was a sky full of clouds.

As I sat by the shore of the beach, all I could think about was what it is going to be like crossing this blue barrier and escaping this island prison. Today is the last day I will be able to sit here and watch the sky and ocean.

"The sand here is so warm." I heard a familiar voice say.

I turned and saw my friend Alyssa approach. She had long oak brown hair which began to curl at her shoulders. Green sparkling eyes as well as a big smile on her face. Pale white skin and small button like nose. Soft, pink lips and ears which were covered by her hair.

Alyssa was dressed in a forest green tunic and lime green leggings.

I nodded in response to her comment.

"So really are leaving today, huh?" She asked.

I stood up and looked her in the eyes. I went straight for her lips and stole a kiss. Immediately her face turned red, and she avoided eye contact.

"I'll be back one day, I promise."

She flung herself into my arms. We remained still, holding each other closely.

I waved good bye to my parents and Alyssa and set off on my boat, heading north for Meraja.

After about 2 months, I had finally arrived in Meraja.

It was a nice and peaceful land. I came here to search for other skilled magicians and give to them what I have learned about magic.

It is a type of energy, one that comes from within. Though, I feel a strong will that there is something deeper to it than just that. No one really knows what gives us this energy, or how it comes back. All we know is that it is inside us.

About five years passed since I arrived. During that time I dedicated myself to mastering the powers given to me. I had become one of the best in the continent. People often asked me for favors, and payed gold to get them done.

My magic truly worked miracles. I was able to control the world around me.

With Earth Magic, I could create mountains, deep pits or simply attack by launching boulders.

With Air Magic, I could make sharp winds, which could cut deeper than swords, form tornadoes, or even fly.

My Water Magic allowed me to cause all sorts of natural disasters as well, such as waves, tsunamis and more should water be nearby. If not, I could create some myself, though, on a lesser scale.
