Securing his blaster into his holster, Mando was getting ready to go out to train the villagers, delicately, his gloved hand softly traced over T'rialows face.
Pushing T'rialows crystallised hair back from her face, Mando took a moment to let his eyes wander over her fragile form. He'd rarely got to see her when she was sleeping, and normally when she was, she still seemed uptight and alert. Now, she seemed gentle and naive. He marveled at the beauty before him. How could so many look at her, and believe her to be a monster?
Placing the palm of his hand on her cheek, she winced in her sleep, a name slipping off her tongue slathered in venom,"Solvexas," whimpering softly, Mando watched as she curled herself up into a tight ball. She was shielding herself, but from what? From who?
"Mando," Cara called, making him flinch, quickly drawing the sheets over T'rialows shaking form.
Turning around, he was happy that the helmet hid the blush he felt creeping over his cheeks, as Cara watched him with a puzzled expression. One brow brought up, her eyes shifting between him and sleeping T'rialow, a small smirk pinching at the side of her mouth, a ghost of a laugh echoing inside her stomach.
"Sorry," she said, putting her hands up in a show of surrender,"was I interrupting?"
Shoving past her, Mando made his way to the centre of the houses and barns, seeing as most of the farmers have already risen,"no."

"Solvexas!" T'rialow screamed, sitting upright, a hand resting on her hearts.
Unconsciously touching the skin where her tail had once been, she grimaced at the rough texture of her skin. Even hidden under the fabric of her clothing, she could still feel the crystallised, jagged scar. Where her own stardust once rung, streaming through her blood.
Pulling the blanket back, she grasped the fabric between her claws, watching it with a peculiar gaze. When had she fallen asleep, and when had she ever done it in an actual bed? Picking up her cloak, which was draped on the bed board, she clasped the buckle around her throat. Tightening the straps on her goggles, she felt her paws flex in a stretch.
At the door, she heard a small giggle, as Winta peered in with the child standing at her feet. Staring at the two, T'rialow tilted her head to the right slightly, as she smiled at the children. Who waved, before disappearing into the sunshine that seemed to pool upon the flourishing village.
Leaning her head on the palm of her hand, T'rialow felt exhaustion take over her happy mood that she had plastered on for the children. If she was younger, she would've used a large majority of the morning to cry and scream out at the nightmare that had scarred her. Instead, a stoic, annoyed look crept through her features.
"This is some bullshit," she whispered to herself, as she stood up,"absolute bullshit."
Stepping out the door, she looked across the makeshift training grounds that were constructed to help get these farmers ready for the fight of their lives. At the shooting range, she watched as Mando stared down at Omera, his body fitting perfectly around hers as he re-aimed the gun in her petite grasp.
She's all that I'll never be.
"Absolute bullshit," she sighed, stepping into the warmth from her sly shadow.
Making her way across the grounds towards Cara, she watched as the women in front of her slapped the back of a farmers head, causing the mongrel to clamp her lips shut as a snort tried to escape. Hood pulled over her head as the cloak swayed deliriously in the wind behind her, she didn't feel the rocks stab into her pads. She practically lost all sense of feeling on her paws, calloused and burnt from numerous years of training and being a bounty hunter does that to you.
