Have you ever been in a situation whereby you are in a state of comatose but not really unconscious. Was this what been in a catatonic state felt like? Because apparently I was in such a situation.
I could smell the wet grass, feel the dirt beneath me , but I couldn't move a muscle.

It was as if my nervous system was on shut down. Completely failing me.
And it was funny because it was not like I didn't try moving my body 'no' that was far from it.
I did try moving but all my attempts were futile. Nothing worked at all.

It felt like forever when all of a sudden, I felt movement around me. It was like something or someone was literally crawling next to me. Really, really close. Then I felt my hand twitch and my body come back to me.

My eyes were the first to jerk open, followed sharply by my upper body. The sudden movement caused a throbbing pain to ring through the back of my skull. I winced slightly, rubbing the back of my head. My muscles ached but apart from that I didn't feel any other pain or discomfort in anyway.
I immediately took in my surroundings, confusion overwhelming my thoughts.

What the hell was I doing in the woods?

There were tall trees making a pathway which led to the unknown. The sky was void of any light source since the sun was already returning to it's resting place and the moon's light which was surfacing was blocked by a giant canopy of trees.
I rose completely to my feet, dragging my weak limbs along the dirt path. I looked down noticing that they were bare and I hardly had any clothes on. Just a plain t-shirt and yoga pants.

Very smart of you Raven.....

I respired in annoyance, tugging at the mass of curls sitting on my head. The forest was eerily quiet except for the crickets whistling in the distance. It was unfortunately getting darker by the minute. And this whole scenery was giving me the creeps.
I still wanted to know though how it is I ended up here. Because I honestly can't  remember walking here or falling unconscious at all.

Still lost in my thoughts I didn't notice the crunching of branches untill i felt a presense almost close to me. I scanned the forest quickly, looking by my sides and behind me for any signs of danger.

Was it a wild animal.?

Oh hell no Raven stop thinking shit like that..

There was no one behind me when I turned around or so I thought because the next thing I knew I was been thrown into a nearby tree. I screamed in pain and horror as my back collided with the hard bark of the tree.

My skull was banging like hell and my vision was disoriented but I still managed to catch sight of a dark figure stalking towards me.
Before it could reach me , I used all of the strength I had and pushed myself off the tree and started sprinting into the forest.
The stones scrapped my bare feet but I paid it no mind for I was set on running for my life no matter the cost. I'm guessing it was the adrenaline cause I'm sure if it weared off my feet would hurt like a bitch.

Apparently my attacker was still following me cause I could still hear his footsteps pounding behind and he was close.
Out of stupid curiosity I decided to dare a glance behind me, he was just at arms length away which motivated me to push my self harder. But I guess I was not fast enough because next thing I knew I was being yanked back by my hair and pressed against a very hard and warm chest. I struggled against his hold but he was just too strong so instead of fighting I tried twisting around  to see who my captor was but I was met with a completely hooded figure ,only pink full lips in sight.

"Let go of me". I yelled grabbing his hand that was still buried in my locks. He wasn't holding tight enough to hurt me but it was still tight enough to keep me in place.
Instead of answering me, my captor just craned his head to the side as if he was analysing me before he finally opened his mouth to speak and what he said just sent my mind into an overdrive.
