I sighed for the uptenth time as Mrs quagmire went on and on about our syllabus for calculus for the semester.

To be completely honest i hated the subject. I didn't know why I decided to take it this year. Probably because I was a masochist and I derived pleasure from dying of boredom.

Yeah that was definitely not it.

The truth was I needed it on my college application if I wanted a chance at studying medicine in havard.

After the accident, i promised myself that I would dedicate my life to helping people and that was what I was going to do.

I bit the tip of my pen counting down from five in my head .....5...4...3...2....1 and the bells rang signaling the ending of school.

Thank fuck....if I stayed one more second in that class I would have gotten a brain seizure. I quickly packed all of my stuff and shoved them in my bag.

Mrs quagmire kept yelling at us to make sure we solved the questions she printed out and gave to us when the class started earlier. But everyone was already out the door.

I guess I wasn't the only one who wanted to flee.

As everyone filed out the classroom I squeezed my tiny body between the crowd untill I was out the door.

Being small had it's perks.

I headed straight for the parking lot, waiting patiently for Elina who was supposed to meet me at my car. I took my phone out ready to call her when i noticed Daniel and his friend Teejay cornering someone.

They were standing pretty close to were I parked so as I approached my car I could hear them loud and clear. It was impossible not to cause they were practically yelling at who ever they cornered.

"Is this kid mute or something?..hey freaky eyes can't you talk." Teejay taunted shoving the person at his chest.

I could only see the person's hoodie clad back, but from the way his shoulders stiffened and his hands clenched by his sides I could tell he was very mad. And for some strange reason I was too. I payed it no mind as I kept my eyes on them. I didn't want them scratching my car when a fight broke out.

Yeah that was it.

"Come on say something you freak or I might just have to beat the words out of you.....why were you leaning on Avalanche's car.....were you trying to steal something." This time is was Daniel who spoke.
I've always hated him. He was one of the guys who followed Romirez like a fucking lost puppy. Which I could say was just pathetic. He was midly attractive though, with baby blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. But he wasn't my type. Not at all.

So Avalanche was the reason why this poor kid was being attacked. Why did he always have to cause problems for other people even when he wasn't around.
This just seemed to fuel my already burning hatred for him. I didn't know whether I wanted to punch him in the face or rip his eyeballs out. Either one was fine by me.

"He can't talk, he's definitely mute." Teejay spat again running his hand through his black locks he turned around as if he was leaving and then the next thing I knew, he charged at the boy, pushing him at the chest again untill he was sprawled out on the ground from the force. And that's when something in me snapped.
It was like an elastic band was stretching and stretching and waiting for one final provocation before it was suddenly snapped back to it's real state.

Either way I found myself bounding towards them in blind rage. I wasn't thinking clearly. All I knew was that I wanted to protect the boy who was laying on the ground and rubbing his probably injured elbow. But then before I could reach my destination, something snatched at my wrist or should I say someone.

"Raven what are you doing?." Elina questioned, confusion written all over her heart shaped face.

" I..." I paused, thinking. what was I doing in the first place?

I did remember Teejay attacking that kid and then the rest was just a fog in my mind untill Elina came.

I turned to answer her question when I noticed she was looking at something. I followed her gaze and saw a very angry looking Avalanche yelling at Daniel. Wow I've never seen him so angry before.

"Don't you ever lay your filthy hands on my brother again.?" He seethed

" Brother?" Daniel asked confused.

Brother ....

"I didn't know Avalanche .....you guys look nothing alike and he was just standing here looking fishy by your car I thought he wanted to do something." He babbled nervously moving backwards slightly in fear of what Avalanche would do.

It was really pathetic how they all feared him.

"Well he is and if I see anyone of you try to bring him harm I will snap your necks." He spat out. he's eyes holding a promise. His stance was rigid, like if he moved a muscle he would explode.

He wouldn't really snap their necks right...the thought made me almost laugh. But the looks on their faces gave me the answer I wanted to hear. Teejay looked seconds away from shitting himself. He's eyes kept darting around avoiding eyes contact with Romirez. Daniel on the other hand looked like he was holding his breath.

Avalanche gave them one final look before pushing past them, the boy who he said was he's brother following him and walking towards the passengers side of his black matte mercedes G-wagon.

He got in slamming the door with a loud bang as he turned on the ignition. The car roaring to life. He was handsome and had a fine ass car. Urghhhhhhh. The lucky bastard. I turned my gaze to the boy whose back was turned to me. I really wanted to see what he looked like.

I hope he wasn't as much of a douche as his brother is. Cause having to hide two bodies would really suck.

The boy who I kept looking at paused when his hands grabbed the door handle. And like in slow motion he's head moved until he was looking directly at me.

I was only able to catch a glimpse of gold before he was slamming the car door and Romirez was pulling out.

"What the hell was that.?" Elina voiced. I totally forgot she was even right next to me.

"I have no idea." I mumbled turning towards my own car. I got in followed closely by Elina. As soon as she was seated, I revved out of the parking lot  and headed straight home.

I need a cold shower.
