i have never felt the love of a man
i have felt innocence destroyed
i have felt consequences for my rebellion
i have felt what it means to bargain for my safety
i have felt harsh hands on my delicate skin
i have felt impatience sting me like lightning of the wildest thunderstorm
i have felt the emptiness of false " i love you's"
i have felt every emotion except joy
i have felt tongues violate my mouth without tenderness
i have felt the ground as i lay with pain on my face
i have felt the stare of a lustful eye
i have felt the pain of seeing him give all his love to someone less deserving
i have felt my heart shatter in pieces that are so small and jagged that i can't even pick them up
i have felt loneliness in my aching and tired heart
i have felt my wallet drain over someone without a price to my worth
i have felt all these terrible things
i have felt sadness and despair
i have felt too much of the dark without a beacon of light
no longer desirable in any form
and i no longer desire
a void.
