Days quickly rolled by, the sun and moon swiftly swiping on the skies like how bored millennials browse through their social media.
Hyerim counted the hours and drew X's on the passing dates of her wall calendar; now she found herself standing face-to-face with the blonde alpha on the same roof.
The house is clean, modernized, and well-built. Bronze and white paint covered the walls and ceilings. Basic furniture and utensils are placed in their respective spaces. Some frames, chandeliers, pots of plants, and vases of flowers were scattered in an organized manner.
There are four rooms and a veranda upstairs. In the backyard, there was a patio, a mini-garden, and a small pool.
The two-story house is perfect for two. Maybe a bit big for them, but if they consider having wild kids soon, the big space will go smaller.
Speaking of having kids...well...
Haechan was the first one to break the tension with a cunning smile, slowly walking towards the infuriated girl with hands on his pockets and a lollipop in his mouth. Once stopped, he bent forward, their eyes aligned as he remained cheeky and unbothered.
"Welcome to our humble abode, I guess?"
"I don't want to live with you," she grumbled and bumped his shoulder, speedily walking to the staircase.
"We have no choice, Hyerim."
The omega paused on the first step.
"We're both not ready for this, much more than we got to be alone in this house. Who knows what will happen?"
"Nothing will happen," she emphasized and looked over to him while her hand gripped the railing tighter. "I will try to adapt to the situation, but that doesn't mean that I'm always open to attend your needs."
Haechan's face contorted. "I will never ask you for that."
"As you should," and she dismissed herself.
The alpha sighed, his shoulders slumping tiredly as his eyes roamed the entirety of the ground floor.
His parents already said that all of their basic needs are already here—food, boxes of their own clothes, toiletries, etc.
The only thing left is their relationship.
Like, how the fuck will they build their relationship?
Sure, it was him who suggested that they act in their true selves, but no one would want to live awkwardly with their housemate... right?
In the confines of one packed room, Hyerim busied herself with organizing her clothes, things that would be placed on her vanity, bedside table, and, of course, the toiletries in the attached bathroom.
Her bedroom is all purple, the sweet lavender scent dancing in the air, giving her a sense of calm and comfort.
By now, she's placing her last pair of ankle boots on the shoe rack, satisfied with her work in a span of two hours.
She kicked the empty boxes aside as she strode to her bed, plopping on the peach duvet that she had placed awhile ago. Suddenly her brain shifted to the alpha—the one-only person residing with her.
