CHAPTER 30

Hyerim woke up with faint and inaudible sounds outside the room. It was like small buzzing noises that could actually disturb your sleep whenever your ears caught them, and it's definitely annoying.

She tried to shift her position and rest her eyes comfortably, but the knob clicking open made her heart jump, and suddenly, a rush of energy flowed through her unprepared system like waterfalls.

"I SWEAR IF SHE—oh"

And lo and behold, the fully capable Mark Lee.

The newly awoken omega and the frozen-standing alpha shared both confused and shocked eye contact for a moment.

"YOU WOKE HER UP! WHAT THE HELL, MARK!?" Haechan's voice blared right after, and the others were sure the force of the sound waves could break the entire house.

"I'm sorry–"

"Whatever, Mark, get the fuck out."

With the younger alpha's tension growing, Mark didn't have the chance to stay longer and chose to leave right away.

Without the oldest in the room in sight, Hyerim felt the tensed air inside her coming out, as well as her muscles relaxing.

"Fuck, I told him to stay out," the remaining alpha grumbled, yet his mood gradually calmed down when he saw the omega.

"I'm sorry, how long were you up?" he softly asked while making his way towards the bed and sitting on its edge.

"Did you guys fight again?" Hyerim frowned. "I understand tensions from alpha siblings sucks, but you have to work on it."

"We're good, but he gets too annoying sometimes," he groaned. "I'm not even completely well."

By then, Hyerim gasped, immediately catching Haechan's attention and watched her spacing out.

"Bae?"

"You're in..." She pointed at him in doubt and began chewing her lip. "How did I end up here?"

Catching the topic, Haechan chuckled and dropped his body over to her lap, making her flinch on the spot, yet he made himself comfortable in it.

"Hmmm, I don't know, how did you?"

"Lee Donghyuck!"

"Yes, my good omega?" He looked up with a cheeky smile, sending the said omega into scarlet ears and a flushed face.

"Get off," she tried peeling him off while looking away.

"Whhyyyyy," he whined, "I'm tired. Let me sleep on you."

"I'm tired too, Lee, and my lower back's aching. Let me breathe for once."

"Oh"

But is it enough reason to get out of his hold? No.

Haechan smirked, and he didn't hesitate to push her down with enough strength. Hovering on top, his lips turned into a grin when he saw the glint of both excitement and nervousness in the omega's eyes.

It was so obvious and a free skill for the alpha to know it. His senses in times of cycle are also well advanced, causing him to pick up smells, sounds, scents, and pheromones quite easily.
