Day Two isn't getting any better—it's getting worse.

Haechan is furious.

He crashed to Renjun and Jeno's apartment to ask if Yizhuo knew anything about Hyerim, but he came back home with a red, swollen cheek. All credit goes to Jisung, who's surprisingly there already and punched him hard.

The news went down to their group chat, reaching Mark, who immediately drove his way to his brother and expected to be a punching bag, but unexpectedly turned to a handkerchief.

Haechan's cries went louder every second; he'll remember the omega. The stinging pain of the bruise was long ignored, as all he could feel was the pain of being separated from his omega. The alpha inside him is growling, in need of its mate's presence.

"Ya, slow down. I won't carry you home when you'll slump down here." Mark clicked his tongue, sipping his own cup that's half-filled with vodka.

The loud, blaring music and overlapping chats hurt his ears. And if he'll tear his attention from the smell of fruity women's drinks, he'll already be puking from the amount of mixed, strong scents swarming around the club.

Yes, club. If Haechan wasn't lovesick right now, Mark had already beaten him to a pulp and let him faint in his own room.

"I still don't know why you chose this place out of everything."

"Cherry High is the standard, brother," Haechan slurred. "You get to swerve your attention. Look there! Over there!"

Mark followed where he was pointing and heard the younger man laugh.

"Yes, there, see that? One day I really would shove the pole on them pussies."

"Lee Donghyuck!" Mark warned him in surprise, fist freezing in the air in reflex of almost punching him, but the younger just continued laughing—apparently wasted

"Woah tch.. That Park really knows how to punch, huh? He punched me like ho!" he punched the empty space in front of him, also mimicking the young pureblood's smirk. "Damn those purebloods are underestimating me, huh? How come Jaemin isn't that violent?"

"He is your typical bad boy crush, Hyuck. It just takes a Hera to discipline him."

"Ya!" Haechan hissed and pointed at the older man with hooded eyes. "Don't call me Hyuck!"

But Mark just rolled his eyes and continued taking small sips, careful not to get at least tipsy at this point because one of them should be normal.

"Oi, I'm going to pee," Haechan mumbled after a long silence, jumping down the stool, which made him lose his balance.

Luckily, Mark still has a tiny bit of patience and worry, grabbing his leather jacket to pull him back in place.

"Thanks, Mielk. You stay, and I'll go," he commanded his brother like a dog, but still Mark went beside him.

"I said, stay! Oh! I'm a big boy." He hit his chest twice and clicked his tongue, turning on his heel, then began slurring away.
