ALPHA UNIVERSE #2: HEAVEN

CHAPTER 11

The last class schedule ended with a bunch of assignments to pass in the next meeting. The students never had a chance to whine about it since their history teacher is literally a living dragon with a ticking bomb that the timer is always holding up in one second.

Hyerim took her time organizing things in her bag while Yizhuo was sitting on top of her own desk while munching on some jellies.

"What if Renjun wakes up one day and realizes that he only likes me as a younger friend and that he only loves Jeno? Then all our connections will get lost as if I were never there?"

"You make it sound so intense," Hyerim replied and zipped her bag close, finally standing up.

"But it was too good to be true. One time he was so against Renjun being comfortable with me, and then it magically changed last recess? So weird."

"Well, maybe he got an earful, or just realized that you three are destined to have something."

"That doesn't make any sense." Yizhuo pouted and popped another jelly in her mouth, handing the plastic pack to the other

Hyerim just hummed and, thankfully, accepted the sweet offer while they walked to the door

"But seriously, Renjun and Jeno—"

"What about us?"

The girls almost punched the suspect in shock, yet only flinched.

The recently mentioned alphas are leaning on the wall across, and the Chinese are now waving at them with a toothy smile.

"What are you doing here?" Yizhuo asked.

"What else? Waiting for you, obviously," Jeno bluntly replied.

Renjun only threw a warning look to his boyfriend and looked back at the girls. "Can we borrow Yizhuo again?"

"But you guys have been latching on her since the minute we arrived early this morning!" Hyerim whined.

"Yeah, well." Renjun rubbed his nape with a shy smile. "Jeno here wanted a dinner date, and we thought Yizhuo could join?"

"We?" she scoffed. "I'm not even convinced that Jeno thought of that. I'm not letting Yizhuo deal with his emotional issues, so please, Renjun, don't lead her on with your existing relationship."

"Hyerim, we already talked about it earlier," Yizhuo convinced. "And besides, I'll be fine."

"Ning-ah, I care about you more than myself, and you know that I support you with your relationships, but not with those who're not sure about you. Yes, Renjun does like you, but what about his boyfriend?"

"Excuse me, I'm still here." Jeno cuts in between, which gained attention. "And I already decided to try whatever these midgets want to do."

Renjun just beamed a smile, while Yizhuo happily nodded.

"So you shouldn't worry too much. You should be thinking about how to deal with yours."
