Y/n's pov

Peter and Ned were talking in the back of the class. I looked over my shoulder and tried to hear what they were saying. But the room was too noisy to hear distinctly their conversation. Peter was banging on something with a hammer.

I heard a huge Bang and turned around quickly. I saw a little purple thing fly and the two boys looking around to see if anyone, especially the teacher, noticed.

I got up to them. "What's up, boys? What's all that mess you're making?"

Peter grabbed something and put it in his pocket so I couldn't see. "No-Nothing. We're just trying the hammer." He banged it on the table. "It works."

I rolled my eyes. The fact that they were hiding something from me was making me a little bit sad, even though I didn't know them for that long. I tried to shake it off and smile, as if nothing had happened.

-"Okay then. I'm gonna go." I left awkwardly.

Peter's pov

I felt bad seeing her leave as if nothing had happened. I knew that she knew we were hiding things from her, and I would be lying if I said that it didn't hurt me to hurt her, but I didn't really have a choice. I made a step towards her, as she was leaving, but Ned grabbed my arm.

-"She can't know. She'll be in danger if that man with the guns with that glowy thing finds out."

-"Ned, I'll remind you that you know, so you're in danger."

-"Yeah, but she's much more valuable than me. The bad guy will want her more than me, if he was given the choice."

-"What the hell are you talking about?"

-"She's Tony Stark's daughter. You told me."

-"And?"

-"Peter, if the wing-man was given the choice between a regular guy, aka me. And Stark's daughter, who do you think he'll choose?"

He was right. We left the class, even though the bell hadn't ring yet.

Y/n's pov

I left the class before everyone else. When Peter lied to me, I just didn't know where to go, so I walked around the school's hallways. I was about to stop in front of my locker and drop my books when I saw Peter sneak in a class, following two dudes with a weird beeping machine.

From the door, I watched him get closer, sneaky-mode. The guys were talking but one of them suddenly stopped, and I heard a clicking sound and the two of them starting to walk slowly to the door. I knew deep down that they had heard Peter. There was no other explanation.

I had to do something. I walked down the stairs, casually. I saw Peter hiding under a table. But I made sure the two men could hear me.

-"Mr. Downey-Junior, I had a question on the assignment you gave us yester"

I stopped, as if I had just seen the two guys. I acted natural. "Hi, do you know where Mr. Downey-Junior is? I had a question about the assignment. Are you his assistants?"

The guys looked at each other and shook their heads. They left the room. As soon as they were gone, I yanked Peter from under the table.

-"What the hell, Pete?"

-"Mr. Downey-Junior? That's not the name of any teachers in this school."

-"I know, its an actor. Ive seen him on the News. He played Sherlock Holmes in the Sherlock Holmes movie. It's the first name that came to my mind. Now what stupid game are you playing?"
