Peter's pov

Back in NY

I got off the bus and aunt May pulled me in a big hug.

-"OMG, Peter, are you okay?" She took my head in her hands, looking at me from all angles.

I laughed and shrugged her hands off gently. "I'm fine. But y/n got injured, and..."

-"Yeah, I know. Tony Stark called. She's in the Stark tower. You'll see her next time you go to the internship."

I froze. Mr. Stark had told everyone except me about y/n. Was he really that angry? The car drive was awkward and silent. I was worried about y/n. I knew that aunt May figured out that Mr. Stark had not informed me about y/n, and I was relieved that she didnt ask any questions.

Y/n's pov

At the Stark tower, a few hours later

I opened my eyes, the sun was high up and the room was very bright. I groaned and rolled on my side. My head was killing me. My eyes landed on the night stand. This was not my room. Where was I? I remembered being here, in the same room. It was the room where I met Tony Stark.

-"Tony Stark. Fuck." I jumped up but let out a small scream, an unbearable pain in my back made me flop on the bed.

I tried to close my eyes and make the pain go away, but my attention was drawn to a little note on the little table.

Y/n,

I need to go for a little, make yourself at home. Please don't go until I get back, I really need to talk to you. There are lots of things you need to know. The other Avengers are here, I promise they are nice, don't be afraid to ask them anything, they know who you are.

I'm sorry,

-Tony Stark

I placed the note down and laid on my back. It was not like I could go away anyway, I couldn't even sit up. The door burst open.

A woman with brownish hair came in. She had a gun in her hands.

-"Are you alright? I heard a scream."

I cursed. The reflex that caused me to roll off the bed was also the one that caused my back to hurt like crazy once again. When she noticed that everything was fine, she put the gun back on her belt and helped me up.

-"Hey, I'm Natasha, but call me Nat."

-"I'm y/n."

-"Yeah, I know, Stark's daughter."

-"I'm not" I sighed.

She looked amused, but when she noticed me wince in pain, she grabbed my waist to help me stand up, worry in her eyes.

-"Maybe you should, lay down or something."

-"I just don't want to be here when Stark's back."

-"You know, you should give him a chance. He's my friend, and even if he's really a fool of himself, he's a good guy."

I rolled my eyes, trying to stop the tears from falling. Nat noticed and she sat next to me on the bed.

-"Are you alright?"

-"It's just... I don't know if I can ever forgive him."

-"You got captured, he thought you were dead. I didn't know then it was the reason he couldn't sleep at night. Every time I saw him, he had baggy eyes, he stayed up all night, upgrading his suits, JARVIS."
