A/N: I'm so so sorry for the late update!!!!! It's midterms for us, I've been super busy with that so I didn't get the chance to properly edit this chapter. Hopefully you guys aren't too upset with me :')

Anyways, enjoy! I hope this chapter makes you feel something the way it did for me as I wrote it <3

Looking around an entire village in a certain timeline as if it were a race was never something Obito had imagined his current self doing, yet the reality of his life said otherwise. Obito strode himself with his hands swaying freely by his side around the village for a specific flower shop he'd believed could tell him find the meaning behind the hydrangea flower.

His sole eye darted towards many different directions, the village was torn apart yet the citizens were still drawn together.

He forgot that Konohagakure was different since the last time he'd actually spent time in the streets freely.

"Woah─ haha!" a small child tumbled to his knees and was immediately met with his kneeling mother. "Okaa-san, I fell!"

"Dear, be care full next time." she smiled. "For awhile, running will seem hard because the village is torn apart, but soon you'll be able to run as much as you want, okay?"

The mother pecked the cheek of her son and the two of them were off on their way. Obito froze in his spot and thought over the words of that woman, torn apart she said? He pressed his lips into a thin line and turned on his heels, walking in the complete opposite direction from before.

Obito knew where he had to go at this point, and it wasn't the flower shop.

"This is the best we got, but it's the more than what we deserve so make the most of it."

The former puppeteer dragged his feet into a new, small, yet functional household with his friends by his side. They set their small bag to the floor and began to glance around in each room, feeling smiles creep onto all of their lips.

"Shit! This is so fucking cool!" the former Jashinist plopped himself onto the couch, "We finally got our own place without having to sleep on the damn floor."

His excitement faded along with his smile the moment he prompted his own memory of the reason as to why they moved out in the first place.

Deidara shrugged. "Well this place only has two bedrooms, un. I can share with Sasori no Danna."

The long haired raven glanced over his shoulder and proffered a smile. "I can bunk with Hidan, I have no problem with that."

Hidan awkwardly chuckled and closed his eyes serenely. "I don't mind either."

Deidara brought himself before his friends and placed his hands over his hips, a shaking smirk plastering his lips. "We're going to have so much fun, you don't even know."

His breath hitched and Hidan opened his eyes to see Deidara forcing a smile to his face while tears forming in his eyes. The latter quickly sat himself up and without any regrets, pulled Deidara in for a small hug knowing fully well that his words were half-hearted.

"Fuck, you couldn't even last 5 minutes."

Sasori and Itachi silently eyed the duo who shared a small hug.

They knew that life without Sakura wasn't going to be easy, but they knew that being there for each other was what had to be done if they wanted to have a smoother ride.
