It was raining yet again.
Whenever it rained, Sakura felt slightly uneasy but she couldn't explain as to why she felt that way. Her fingers that curled around the edges of the book she was reading tightened from the slight knocks the rain made when it made contact with her window. She would occasionally flinch, too.
"I want more juice." Deidara exclaimed.
"So get more for yourself, you piece of shit. No one's your damn maid." Hidan tutted, annoyed.
The blonde grit his teeth from the attitude he was given yet he didn't have a retort to spare. He simply crossed his arms with a huff and cocked his head to the side. Everyone tried to keep their laughter in by smiling it off, save for Naruto who could never dare to hold in his thoughts nor emotions.
Itachi eyed the pinkette from the side and a frown creased his face yet again. Everyone was currently eating or had already finished their breakfast─ although Sakura wasn't a part of either group. She simply sat on the living room couch as she read like usual while the boys sat at the dinning table and ate.
"Sakura-chan, do you want to eat something?"
"No, is' okay."
His frown tightened. "Not even a─."
"Itachi, just leave it." Sasori cut in.
The puppeteer pushed himself off of his seat and trudged his heavy feet towards the sink before washing his used dishes. The long haired raven eyed his friend for a moment before continuing to silently eat his food.
It didn't make sense that Sasori didn't want Sakura to eat─ he should promote her to be healthy, not to starve herself. Onyx eyes narrowed.

Sitting at the dinning table and enjoying a meal wasn't something that Kakashi had done often with such a large group of people. Instead of trying to do so, let alone sit in the same room as them, the masked man laid down on his bed with one hand behind his head and the other holding up a book, but not his usual Icha Icha Paradise one; it was the medical book his former teammate's mother had given him. In other words, the book Rin used in her short lifespan and now the book Sakura often uses.
In a serenely manner, he read the medical book and was surprised to say the least. For someone as young as Rin to learn such techniques was admirable, and if she had lived a little longer, perhaps she could have been a medical Kunoichi that Konoha would have praised.
Sakura was a different story.
She'll grow up into a fine young girl and if she didn't become a Kunoichi, she'd be one of the greatest medics their village had to offer. With the skill and knowledge she had to spare at her young age of 5 years old, she certainly was special.
He was sure of the fact that she was going to grow up and be a successful girl.
His thoughts were disturbed yet he never cared enough to travel his sole eye away from the medical book, and to the now opened door that creaked.
"Whatcha' doing?" Little steps were one of the only audible sounds but before she made her way to him, she closed the door behind herself. "Did you eat breakfast?"
"I'm not hungry."
Some lies wouldn't hurt, right?
The pinkette's lips flatted as she plopped herself onto the edge of the bed and glanced over to the book his was reading. Green eyes darkened and fingers were dug into the sheets from the ineffable sorrow and anger that surged through her veins at the moment
