Sakura's saviors were just humans─ humans that lost their way for awhile before getting back onto the flower path that she had created for them. She was a girl who made criminals go back to their old ways, or better yet, back to their true selves.

They weren't mercenaries, they were humans.

Kakashi watched as the youngest of her saviors struggled in midair with his feet dangling below him and hands tightly wrapped around the tight grip of one of the main intruders.

Pain tightened his grip around the now, blue faced blonde. "Won't speak? I'll ask you one more time."

To protect the village; that was what Kakashi had to do for now.

But to protect Deidara; that was what he'd do before anything.

Kakashi pushed himself forward with the quickest speed he'd ever noticed of himself with the intention of saving the young boy.

When he closed his ocean eyes, Kakashi's right hand grew cold and lightening emerged from it

"Get away!"

He was ready to kill the Rinnegan user, although the enemy slammed the blonde boy to the floor and jumped back to avoid the impact of his Lightening Blade. Deidara shot his eyes open, clasping around his own neck and coughing for the very air Pain had taken away from him just moments before. Kakashi knelt himself down, patting the small of Deidara's back gently.

"Can you hear me?"

He coughed. "No shit Sherlock."

"Let's get you to the shelter."

Escaping this Rinnegan user was Kakashi's first priority and so he slung Deidara's arm around himself and disappeared in a poof. He appeared into one of the more quieter sides of the village and placed the boy to sit on the floor.

"I'm bringing you to a shelter and don't you dare leave after that. That's an order." He sternly said.

"You're not my boss!" he coughed out, but continued. "I wasn't recruited into the Akatsuki for no reason, I'm strong un! Itachi must've already brought Sakura to the shelter so there's nothing left for me to do other than to fight. Don't boss me around as if I'm under your control, I'm going to protect this village and Sakura no matter what!"

He would have died if Kakashi didn't show up, but it was with his supposed last breath where he realized that he'd die for Sakura no matter the situation. This fact made him grit his teeth as he stared up at the masked man.

"I'm fighting for her!" he added, pushing himself up to his feet. "We're fighting to protect her and the village, don't be stupid un!"

Kakashi took a kunai out of his pouch and held it out with eyes that never dared to betray any emotion. "Use this to fight."

The blonde shook his head and pushed the masked man's hand back to the owner. "I'm getting my clay from our home."

Kakashi never got the chance to react to the term that Deidara used, and he simply watched the latter run through the dead bodies towards the direction he knew was his household.

Home.

Deidara considered Sakura his home where Hidan, Sasori, Kakashi and Itachi resided with him and Sakura. This was the home he'd protect no matter what─ with Sakura being his main pillar of support that he knew would always be by his side to push him forward.

That atrocious word made Kakashi's Sharingan twitch.
