*** First and foremost I want to say, I do not support the act of cutting, burning, purging, or strenuouizing ect. But I do support you. Every single one of you. You're all wonderful, and beautiful people. Secondly, I would like point out that I am not romanticizing self harm, it's not a beautiful thing. If you are suffering, please don't hide in the shadows of your sadness or self hate, step out into the light and begin your journey to recovery. With all the love I have to give, ~Abby ***
You sat in your room leaning up against the wall, but sitting on the floor. Your forearm burning the craving for the terrible sensation. But still you fought it. It's not a good thing. I can't. Not again..... But finally you couldn't take it, and began to rake your nails over the skin of your arm. Scratching harder and harder until the skin actually broke and began to bleed. Suddenly the door opened, and Dean's face appeared in the doorway.
"Hey (y/n)!" He called out "We a- (y/n)?"
You panicked and tried to hand your arms behind your back.
"(Y/n) wh-" he stepped closer, and took your arms out from behind your back without a word. He saw the marks, he saw the skin and blood on your nails. He looked up into your eyes, steaming with tears. He stood up without a word and walked into your on suite bathroom, and came back with a wet washcloth and a roll of gauze. He did not meet your eyes, as he took your arm and began to gently dab at your bloody scratched. Through the whole time cleaning you up, he said nothing and didn't meet your gaze. When he finally tapes down the gauze. He looks into your eyes. "We are going to fix this"You took a breath and started to speak. "There's nothing to fix Dean, it's not hurting me. It's-"
"No it's not. It's leaving marks on your skin. Your beautiful beautiful skin,"
"Dean, it's helping me. Honest,"
"I don't believe you. We are going to get through it. Together,"
You saw the sadness in his eyes and said, "okay"
