Jocelyn's POV

~6 months later~

I woke up to someone knocking on the window. Which was weird because we were on the second floor and it was also 2 in the morning. I sat up and looked at the window. I quietly laughed.

"What are you doing here?" I mouthed.

"Missed ya" Dally mouthed back.

I quietly got up, trying not to wake anyone. I walked over to the window. I herd someone sit up. I looked over and Lavender was staring at me confused. She quietly got up and walked over.

"What are you- never mind. Why is he here? Wait no, how did he get to the window?" Lavender whispered unsure what to say. I just shrugged.

I turned back to the window and opened it. We went straight into a hug.

"How did you get up here?" Lavender whispered.

"Climbed the tree" Dally whispered back.

I let go of Dally. Everyone else was sitting up to see what the noise was. They all walked over quietly.

"Do I even want to know?" Rihanna asked.

"He climbed a tree" Lavender said. Rihanna looked at me and I nodded. "Ok, Uh well, why are you here exactly?" She asked Dally.

"Have some good news for Joy"

I looked at him as fast as I could. I stared at him waiting for the news. He smiled.

"Darry got a new house and got money to get you guys outta these homes."

I smiled grew across my face. I'm gonna see my brothers! I hugged Dally out of excitement.

"Congratulations Joy" Rihanna said. She didn't sound to happy that I was going to leave. I let go of Dally. I saw a rock fly up and hit Dally in the arm.

"I'm gonna f*cking kill your friend" he said in a serious tone, but I knew he was joking. Everyone looked really confused. I stuck my head out the window and looked down.

"Hey Joy!" Two-bit said with a giant smile.

"Hi Two-bit" I said laughing. I moved back a little and looked at Dally. He laughed and then kissed my head.

"I'll see you soon" Dally whispered before climbing back down the tree. I closed the window and turned back around. Lavender and Layla were the only ones who seemed happy. Lavender hugged me.

"Your gonna get to see your brothers" she whispered. My eyes started tearing up out of happiness.

"I'm gonna miss you around here Joy" Rihanna said.

I let go of Lavender and looked at Rihanna. "I'm gonna miss you also. And everyone else. It was nice to have a few friends that weren't boys and who don't try to fight me"

Everyone smiled and let out a small laugh. We all went into a group hug when I herd footsteps.

"Pretend Layla was having nightmare" I quickly whispered. They all looked confused and I pointed to the door. They saw the light flick on in the hallway. We pretended to calm Layla. Ms. Jackson opened the door and walked inside.

"It is 2 in the morning! Why are you girls still awake!"

"Sorry Ms. Jackson, Layla was having a nightmare" I said.

"Ok, Layla, you alright?"

Layla nodded. Ms. Jackson left the room and turned the hallway light off. I waited for her to walk away. After she walked away, everyone laughed quietly. We hugged one more time before going back to sleep.
