Jocelyn's POV

I woke up to Darry cleaning blood off me. The last thing I remember was walking home with Dally, then being brought to his parents house. I remember a switchblade and getting hit in the head. Other then that, I don't know what happened.

The gang seemed pretty upset though. Soda and Pony were both hugging each other. They looked pissed, but they were crying. Two-bit looked like he was trying to not cry. Johnny and Steve both looked worried. Lavender, Layla, and all them, they looked worried. Darry looked worried, pissed, but focused on cleaning my cuts. I looked at Dally, he seemed pissed. I noticed he was wearing the necklace, does this mean we weren't together anymore??

"I still can't believe you went to that house" I herd Dally say.

"Someone had to. Clearly you weren't gonna do anything" Darry said.

"Sorry I didn't want to get killed"

"Rather you be dead then my sister"

"So none of you would care if I died?"

"Nobody said that"

"You just said that you rather I be dead"

"Dally.. family will always come first" I said quietly.

"Hm?" Dally said.

"Family always comes before the gang for us. You know that"

"I cannot relate to that"

"We know" Soda said.

"Shut your trap Soda!" Dally snapped.

"What the f*ck Dally!! Leave him alone!" I said. I was starting to get mad at him. I'm assuming they were all mad at him.

"Don't tell me what to do"

"Oh, so you can tell us what to do, but we can't tell you what to do?!" Pony said.

"Your a 13 year old! I'm not gonna listen to you!"

"I'm 14"

"I'm 16!"

"I'm 20 and in charge of this gang"

"Whatever!"

"What the hell did I miss" I said. It sounded like I was talking to myself.

"We told Dally to go save you. He refused, but went together the necklace. Tried bossing Darry around. Soda and Pony were yelling at Dally. Winston parents told Darry to go get you because they herd Soda and Pony yelling. Long story short, we are pissed at Dally" Steve explained.

The front door opened.

"I'm staying the night and I'm soaked" Shepherd said.

Everyone looked out the window. It was pouring.

"I swear it was just sunny" Two-bit said.

"That's because it was" Steve said.

Soda walked over to the radio and turned it on. It was a weather report interrupting all the stations. We listened to the radio for a minute, then everything turned off.

"And the powers out" I said.

"Great" Pony said.

"Soda, Steve, Two-bit, go get the flashlights. Johnny and Pony, go get the candles" Darry said.

"I want to get the candles though!" Two-bit whined.

"We don't even let you near them when they powers on!" I said.

Two-bit started whining again.

"Darry, they can help" I said referring to my friends.

"Oh right. Rihanna, Lavender, and Kenna, go get the candles. Layla, Riley, and Kylie, go get the flashlights. Jessica, go make sure the doors and windows are all closed and locked. Soda and Steve go get the cards and board games. Johnny and Pony, get the blankets, it's supposed to be cold. Two-bit, go get the snacks and the back up radio" Darry said.

Everyone nodded and left the room to get or do what Darry said. Everyone walked back into the room. I sat up.

"Remember the last power outage?" Soda said laughing.

"Which part are you talking about?" Steve laughed.

"The part where Pony was scared to go to the bathroom?" I barley managed to say.

"Hey!" Pony said offended.

"What did you just say?" Kenna asked.

"The last time the power went out, Pony was scared to go to the bathroom by himself. He made Darry and Soda go with him" I laughed.

"That was really funny" Two-bit laughed.

"Stooooop" Pony whined.

"You were scared to go to the bathroom?" Jessica asked.

"Yes.."

"Wow"

"How long ago was this?" Rihanna asked.

"About a year and a half ago" I said.

"There are a ton of embarrassing stories we have of each other" Johnny said.

"We can tell" Kenna said.

"I'm going to Bucks" Dally said.

"Your not leaving this house. Its thunder storming" I said.

"Why do you care?"

"You've met my mother"

"Right"

"Joy, cards, nowww" Steve whined.

"Just deal me in!"

"Don't be meannnn!"

"Steve! If you want me to play shut your trap and deal me in!"

"You guys are so mean to each other" Kenna said.

"No we aren't" Two-bit whined.

"Their gang acts like a bunch of little kids" Tim Shepherd said.

"Again, we can tell"

"Darryyyyyyy!!! Joy's friend is being meannnnn" Steve whined.

"Steve!!! Shut it!!!!" I said.

"But!"

"Steve, leave Kenna alone" Darry said. Soda started laughing.

Everyone went silent. There was a lighting bolt so big, it lit up the whole house for a second. Then there was a loud bang. It sounded like a gun shot or fireworks, but it wasn't a quick sound. I could feel everyone staring at me. I mean, in there defense I did jump really bad.

"Joy, your ok. It was just thunder." Steve says.

I wasn't really sure what was happening. I've always had a fear of thunder, I don't know why. I was staring at one of the candles sitting on the table. I felt someone hug me, which made me jump again. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. I looked to see who was hugging me. It was Dally.

"Your ok, Joy" Dally says quietly. I lean my head against him.

"Awwww" Soda says and everyone looks at him. "Sorry, that was supposed to be in my head." I let out a small laugh.
