Natalia hated parties. She hated the attention. But, when you're the daughter of a rich businesswoman, attention seems to throw itself at you.
Looking out her window, Natalia could already see the familiar sight of paparazzi, trying desperately to snap a picture of all the A-list celebrities.
Rolling her eyes, Natalia placed her silver draped earrings in, costing more than most people's houses. The thing is, when Natalia had to wear dresses and fancy clothes, she had to do it in style. Go big or go home, right?
Sometimes Natalia wished that she came from a different family, one that's life was in the shadows and not on the front cover of every magazine in New York.
Hundreds of people, reporters and paparazzi queued up outside the airport that day, desperate to get a glimpse of the genius billionaire and her prodigal son.
Natalia and Estela usually faded into the background, sometimes getting caught with questions like: "are you pregnant?", "are you currently dating anyone?" ,and of course the "what's the secret to your body?".
These questions infuriated Natalia and, when they stepped over the line, she made sure she got their names, playing along with their questions.
Little did they know, they had just earned themselves a spot on 'Lady Nightshade's' kill list. They'd be dead by the morning, articles about their brutal death whilst the murderer's face sat, unknowingly, on the front cover.
Natalia hated the spotlight. Sometimes she loved it, the money was almost never ending and eligible one night stands were lining up at her door.
Though, lately she hadn't slept with anyone, it was becoming tiring for her. Having to hide her secret and sleep with hot men with incredible stamina was proving to be quite hard. She figured her sex life would have to be put on hold, she couldn't exactly shout out 'I'm an assassin and I've killed hundreds of people' across the dinner table, could she?
The one bad thing about being in the public eye was having to fully disguise herself wherever she went, Natalia couldn't even go shopping without a wig; especially when the items she was looking for were holsters and Glock 17's.
Breathing out a long breath to try and relieve herself of some tension, she looked at herself in the mirror. The black gown perfectly showed off her curvaceous breasts, the dress hugging her curves in all the right places. Natalia didn't like dresses, but if she had to choose, this would be her favourite.
To finish off the look, Natalia placed a gold bracelet around her wrist, one gifted to her by someone special to her. Finally, she slipped on her pair of Louboutin heels. She had to have her signature red somewhere in her outfit.
