The journey to the hospital had been reasonably fast, partly due to the fact Natalia's motorbike was one of the fastest ever. That was one of the perks of being dirty rich, you can buy almost anything.

"Miss. Maldonado, any updates on your mother?" A voice spoke and Natalia turned round to see a herd of paparazzi, presumably camping outside the hospital.

Natalia thought her day couldn't get worse, yet it just did.

"None worth telling" Natalia muttered, avoiding eye contact with them. She was silently patting herself on the back at the fact she brought her sunglasses- it made it a lot easier for them to not create assumptions and for her to avoid them as much as she could.

"Why haven't you been visiting your mother?" A voice spoke up and, annoyingly, reporters were there as well; a man following her with a microphone.

"No comment" Natalia muttered, her feet struggling to move as quick as Natalia wanted them to.

Why hadn't she been visiting her mother? Well, first, she hadn't been much of a mother to her at all so it's hard to call her that.

Second, a part of Natalia felt guilty as the thing that almost killed her was in Natalia's possession. Natalia had to admit, Aurelia deserves the karma she has coming, but she doesn't deserve to be trapped inside her own body.

That was something out of Natalia's nightmares. Not being able to control your own body and being trapped- the thought of it was horrifying.

The reporters and paparazzi began to close in on Natalia and, luckily enough, the hospital had security. As Natalia slipped through the main entrance, she could hear them being scolded and shouted at. The security guy would actually make a good recruit, but he seemed to be a genuine person- which most people in that business are not.

"Hey, I'm looking for Aurelia Maldonado, could you tell me which room she's in?" Natalia asked the receptionist, internally cringing at how nice she sounded.

"I'm sorry, I can't tell you confidential information without a form of ID" the woman said, turning her nose up at Natalia. She definitely wasn't going to be nice now.

"I'm her daughter, Natalia- if you want identification, look on the front cover of every magazine in New York" Natalia told her, growing visibly impatient as a man came over.

"You're causing a scene, I'm going to have to ask you to leave-" the man said, hooking his arm around Natalia's lower back to try and get her to leave.

"Get the fuck off me" Natalia spat, grabbing his arm and shoving it away. "That woman is my mother and if you continue to refuse me entry I'll make sure to see you in court for-"

"It's okay, Melanie, I'll take her from here" a familiar voice spoke from behind her and only then did Natalia realise she was up in the woman's face, pointing her finger at her as she cowered back.

"Maxwell, you're not taking this one off of me" Melanie argued, trying to stand her ground in front of Natalia but failing once she looked her in the eyes. Natalia's death stare was truly one of a kind.

"Look here, you could have just lost us a valuable patient, Green. One word to my cousin and I could put you out onto the streets- you don't want that, do you?" Maxwell spoke and Melanie visibly gulped, nodding her head and looking down to the floor.

"Follow me" Maxwell said, making Natalia release Melanie from her stare and finally look at the woman who actually listened to her.

"Ines?" Natalia spoke, confused at the familiar face. Though, as she said that, she realised she was undercover when she met her, meaning she'd just blown her cover.
