Hello again, this is our last chapter before the story begins. You can listen here some amazing music, and if you interested, you can always check the Spotify playlist named
"The Gravity Doesn't Hold Us Anymore"1. Radiohead - No Surprises
Radiohead is really my favourite band, I guess. I had never stopped listening since I discovered this band when I was 15 years old. In this story, I think you can feel the soothing vibes of Radiohead.
2. Talking Heads - Psycho Killer
a- Have a great party
b- Kill everyone who came to the party
c- Dance among the bodies while police at the door. This is how I feel when I listen to that damn song. Damn.
3. Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down
As an atheist, I can say that I believe it for some reason when Johnny Cash says God's gonna cut me down. Behold the old countryman.
4. Sia - California Dreaming
I have a complicated relationship with this song.
Everybody has hard times in their lives. When I stop and look back at the things I survive, I always remember people who tried to pull me down. I compare those people to the preacher man in this song. Most of them had good intentions, I know that, but what they were doing with their good intentions only stopped me and made me question myself. I don't hate them, but I can say that I lost my ability to love them, either.
5. The Prodigy - The Day Is My Enemy
Anyone here metalhead?
I can proudly say that I spent my entire puberty listening to metal music. Even though I'm not that obsessed now, I still listen fondly. Metal music has indeed risen out of reality.
6. Rob Dougan - Clubbed To Death
Let's get the classics back to where they belong!
Everyone loves Matrix, right? I'm a huge fan. Especially its music never gets old. Clubbed To Death is a really cool track. Slaying here and there, ma'am, if you like cool stuff, you will be in love with this music.
7. Bee Gees - Staying Alive
A wise man once said, cooking is a gift from the god's, spices are a gift from the devil. Let's add some spice to this story and stay the damn alive!
8. Melody Gardot - Preacherman
THIS. IS. WHAT. I. AM. TALKING. ABOUT.
Ladies and gentleman, please let me introduce you to majestic Melody Gardot and her magnificent musical perception.
After listening too much metal music for like 5-6 years, I came across jazz music. And this was one of the best things that happen to me because soon after I had the chance to listen to Melody Gardot. Hear me out: She is making jazz music for former metalheads! Can you believe that?
I know she has a small audience but, give her a chance. You will not regret it. You have my word.
And please, please, pretty please, watch this amazing artwork of MV.
Please share with me what you think in the comments. Did you like the music? If so, you can find a lot more on the Spotify list. I will also leave the link to the list in the first comment.
Now we can start the story, what would you say, shall we?
