Izuku POV

------------------

I'm getting ready to leave for patrol, when I hear some noice outside. I get a bit susicious, as I know that Hitoshi is already asleep. And I know for sure he doesn't sleepwalk.

So I take extra precautions, and get outside using a teleportation and invisibility quirk. What I see is a whole bunch of underground hero's hiding near my home.

I quickly get out of sight when one of them turns around and faces me. I'm guessing his quirk allows him to know where I am. I jump on a nearby rooftop, and go away. I make my way towards my resting spot, hearing the hero's behind me shout instructions to others.

So they have a plan to capture me, isn't it? In that case, I think that it's safe to assume they know my identity.

I hear a yell of help, and rush towards it. I unarm the low-life quickly, and help the young man up. I instruct him to call the police, and than disappear in the shadows. I have to be quick with all my fights, otherwise I'm gonna get caught!

When it almost strikes dawn, I round a corner to bump into a less known hero. I quickly get up, and am already in the air jumping away from him when he grabs my leg.

He reaches out for my forehead, and I jerk my upper body back to avoid his hand. He groans, but just tries again while calling out for others as backup.

Another hero I don't recognize jumps at me from above. I avoid his kunai, but doing so missed the hand reaching for me once again.

The hero touches my forehead, and I feel my body going limp in his arms. What will happen with Shinsou... is my last thought before spacing out.

---------------------3 hours later----------------------

I wake up in an interrogation room. My hands are cuffed onto the table, and the room is filled with police men and hero's. My mask is off, but I can still feel my earpiece. I guess they didn't find it just yet.

Then someone walks in. It's Tsukauchi, that goddamn human liedetector.  He sits down in front of me, and puts his hands together.

''Well, I'm guessing you already know why you're here, isn't it, Green Kitsune? Or should I say, Izuku Midoriya?''

I can't help it, hearing that last name makes my blood boil. ''Dont. Call. Me. A freaking. Midoriya.'' I hiss.

I can sense his surprise at my response, but I'm already back to my numb state. I just stare blankly at him. He sighs and begins to interrogate me.

In the end, all Tsukauchi has gotten from me is a confirmation of my name, my kill count (which is 0), and my whereabouts in the years that weren't registered. It isn't much, but he didn't get anymore out of me, so in the end he just lets me go.

When he is about to go, he says one last thing. ''You're gonna get a permanent quirk-disabling cuff, and you're gonna go into the system. You better behave, got that?''

I simply nod, and he goes. I stare at the wall for some time before someone comes to lead me to my new parents. Apparently they already decided on that matter.

The couple is made of a young woman with blue eyes, and black-blue hair, and a man only a little older with spiky blonde hair and crimson eyes. He reminds me of someone, not that I care.

We walk down the street, and enter their house. For the first few weeks, there will be someone to keep an eye on me, so I don't run away. Once I've settled, they are allowed to leave.

Yuki and Sutaraito, as I learn are their names, give off a eerie vibe. But I honestly don't care, I just want to know what happened with Shinsou.

The first week is boring. I spend my time in my room, and although Yuki and Sutaraito act nice, I can tell somethings off.

The second week something interesting happens. I have just woken up when I hear a light tap on my window. Out of habit, I open the window and kick the person away. But then I recognize the person, and quickly reach out to grab his hand before he falls. I pull him inside, and he looks me happy in the eyes.

''I missed you, Izuku! You suddenly disappeared, and I was so worried! I was put in an orphanage, and I just managed to run away!''

''Calm down Shinsou. I think you need to go. I don't think it's safe here, go live your own life. I'm no part of it anymore.''

Shinsou looks shocked up to me, but then sees that I'm being serious. He sighes, knowing that he can't persuade me. ''Can you at least smile for me? One smile. That's all I ask.''

I'm a bit curious at why he wants me to smile so bad, but do it anyways. I pull my lips up, and try to laugh. But I don't feel the happiness, so I can't display any.

He sighes, and pulls me in for a hug. ''Try to be happy, okay? I want to see that smile- that true and happy smile of yours someday.''

I can hear the sadness in his tone, and his voice tells me that he really wants me to smile. I'm not really affected by this, but I still don't really want him to feel sad. So I smile. A sad, little smile that tugs my lips just a little, but Shinsou notices anyway. I can sense his surprise at my action.

''Okay,'' I mutter in his ear.

Then I push him out of the window. I know he'll land on his feet thanks to the training I gave him. I look at him one more time, and then close the window.

''Sayonara, Onii-chan.''

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello! I'm here to waste your time again!

I honestly almost cried writing the last scene. Like, it's so sad and wholesome! Oh, and just so it's some more clear, Onii-chan is Japanese for brother. I'm not sure if it's used for the big bro or the little one, but that doesn't matter (I think).

Izuku says it to display the way he sees Shinsou. So, when he closes the window, he calls Shinsou 'brother' because he really views him as his brother in some sort of way.

I wonder why Yuki and Sutaraito give off a eerie vibe? Next chapter you'll find out!!! (I'm evil)
