Izuku POV

-------------------------

Hatsume-san closes her eyes, and when she opens them again her and Shinsou's hands are glowing with a soft white light.

Shinsou is looking at it in amazement, not paying any attention to what Hatsume-san is doing.

Hatsume-san carefully moves her hands away from Shinsou's, a white strand still connecting both people. She touches Shinsou's forehead with one finger, and a screen-like square made of white light appears in the room. Shinsou's eyes lit up once with a white light, and then he passed out on the couch.

Seeing this, she closes her eyes, seemingly concentrating. After a little while, video-like clips appear on the screen. Hatsume-san opens her eyes again, and starts scrolling through the memory-clips. Then, she opens one. (A.N. The next few memories are in 3rd POV, since these are Shinsou's memories, and the situation needs to be described. Also, there will only be described how Shinsou experienced it)

A dark room. One bed in the corner, and a closet next to it. The walls are a dark grey, and the light on the bureau across from the wooden door is faintly shining. The field of vision shifts down, revealing two thin, bruised hands nervously playing with the purple sleeves of his shirt. Suddenly, a loud noise could be heard downstairs, and everything starts to shake. No, he himself is shaking. ''I hope he didn't have a bad day today...'' is mumbled. The stairs shake a little indicating that someone was coming upstairs. The vision started moving, going towards the closet. One hand is extended, and the closet door opens. Without a sound, he goes in the closet, the surroundings now turning pitch-black. The closet door closes, and after just a little while, the door of the room is slammed open. You could hear that his breathing pattern, which was first quick, but steady, turned into a hitched and panicked gasping. One hand went to cover the mouth, but suddenly the closet doors were pulled open, revealing a purple-haired male who looked almost exactly like Shinsou-

''You can stop! This has nothing to do with the LOV!''

Hatsume-san stops the memory, and looks at me with questioning eyes. I notice from the corners of my eyes that the detective is also staring at me, so I hastily continue.

''That's Shinsou's father. This clip was from before he even met me. This can't possibly be it.''

Both Tsukauchi and Hatsume-san nod, after which Hatsume-san gives me a question.

''The memories of a person are stored chronologically, so could you please tell me when you first met him?'' I think back.

''I think it was in begin March, last year. I don't remember that clearly, though.''

She nods. ''That's good enough. At least I'm certain of what parts to skip now!''

She then continues to scroll down, until we suddenly saw something strange. In one part of Shinsou's memory, there was a series of clips that all had the exact same beginning. (We only saw the beginning, since those clips only play the beginning unless you open them.)

Getting a little curious, I asked Hatsume-san to open the first one of them. She complied, and what we saw was this:

Walking down a dark and crowded street. The walking fastens, and after just a short while it had tuned into running. The walls fly by, and the running continues. Suddenly, the vision stops for a moment, then takes a sharp turn to the right to reveal a dead end. The running doesn't stop, though. In fact, it only accelerates in speed. There is a crash against the wall for a second, and then the wall seems to melt, letting him past-

Then there was a bright white light, and we couldn't see anymore. We try some of the others, and they all end the same, though some of them end slightly earlier or later. But the ones who end later don't really give any extra information either.
